"We had a wonderful time. The property needs a generator due to the constant power outages that affect both electricity and water supply. AC in the master bedroom did not work. The property manager and the caretakers were excellent. Very helpful and made our stay a pleasure. Chris Medina from Everything Under the Sun (http://underthesundr.com/) planned our activities. He was excellent. He was personally involved every step of the way and really took care of us."

"Our family of 12 stayed at the Villa for 5 days. We’ve traveled abroad every year for many years, and we’ve had multiple family vacations. "Driving up to the house defies description, a manicured, tree-covered driveway with beautiful art installations. The villa is truly breathtaking. Completely open air design, magnificently furnished with 3 seating areas inside and out and amazing 2 and 3 dimensional art throughout. "BEWARE!!!!!! 3 hours before my check-in time, I contacted the host for check-in instructions (it's an apartment, not a hotel with reception). The person told me that the apartment wasn't available but said they will help me find accommodation and urged me to get refund from Expedia as the new place wanted cash. "From beginning to end the property manager was was always interested in our booking. And took care to make sure both transfers and car rental wee arranged. The staff were attentive but not suffocating. The food Lucy prepared was authentic Dominican cuisine. Simple but satisfying. The property is private with amazing views and clean pool. Very safe and secure property. The property, especially the interior could use some updating. Overall would recommend. "

"I loved it. Very private - beach - house was comfortable and had everything you need. If you are looking to decompress and relax - away from the touristy places - this place is it. Just beautiful and so easy - walking on the beach and swimming could not be better and usually all by yourself. I did find I needed a car as it is remote and there is not much close by but you can use the busses (I did for 2 weeks) which are very good if you prefer. Local restaurants are fantastic - so good - not...
