"We liked the spacious kitchen, room and balcony, it felt big enough for our family of 4 (parents sleeping on sofa bed which did the job). No one came to clean our room at all during our 7 night stay so we did have to get some emergency toilet rolls and bin bags and it would have been nice for this service (we could have asked on reception if we were that bothered). We also kept seeing people stealing ice creams from the poolside fridge which we found annoying as we were paying €3.50 for each one...

"Der Aufenthalt im Barceló Santiago war grandios. Ich empfehle selten Hotels weiter, aber dieses ist wirklich, nicht nur aufgrund der Lage, herausragend. Das Buffet ist toll mit abwechslungsreichen Themenabenden. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sehr bemüht. Der einzige Minuspunkt war im Zimmer bei der Duschwanne zu verordnen. Diese war leicht gelblich und die Trennwand war etwas undicht. Ansonsten sehr toll!"

"The resort is I would say the best for families who are in Tenerife to visit the parks and enjoy the peaceful time in the resort. The rooms were very clean and had all the necessities . The resort will also provide you with the shower room on the check out day. The reception staff was courteous . The location was great . The breakfast was limited and the same menu every single day . So that needs to be worked on . Also the checkout time is too early at 10:00 while the resorts around have atleast...

"Great value, amazing staff, and fun entertainment! ​For the price, this hotel is a great option. Our rooms were perfectly clean, and the pool bar is excellent for a day in the sun with the kids. A huge special thanks to reception for moving us to a beautiful, quiet garden room after our first night to get away from the outside noise. We also loved the entertainment on a few of the nights; the magician was fantastic and kept us in the hotel after dinner. Would definitely stay again!"

"Spent my first solo holiday in Alousoul hotel, it was amazing. All of the staff were so friendly. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, so much choice and the complementary cookies and flavoured water were lovely. Location wise it’s perfect, a short walk to the beaches and restaurants. Would definitely return."
