"Nice location clean hotel friendly staff"

"Good experience. Hotel is in a great location. Our room was quiet though that meant no real window (courtyard was blocked by scaffolding) It’s hard to maintain these older hotels so there is definitely some wear and tear - bathroom baseboards were pulling away from wall. Bathroom doors had some paint peeling but nothing that impacted the function of the room or made it feel unclean. Beds were comfortable. All in all we had a great stay and would choose this hotel again."

"Stayed mid-April. It’s a little more rundown than I thought it would be once we got there. It smelled like smoke on my entire floor, even though it was non-smoking. The key cards would never unlock the door until the 5-6th try, and that’s when they were actually working. The AC wasn’t working in the three rooms they tried us in unless we call down at night and had a handyman come up and turn a screw or something every night. "Great easy access to Times Square from this hotel. Short walk to the subway station which was also convenient. The lobby was quite nice, staff was friendly. We found the room a bit dated and needing some cosmetic repairs but worked fine. Would stay again if I wanted to be close to Times Square."
