"This hotel needs a total overhaul! One cannot open the blinds so room is always dark. Rusty mirror in bathroom, cabinet doors do not close. No phone in the room so had to go to front desk to talk to the staff. Horrible experience. 2-3 stars at best and should be charged accordingly. They have a nice looking lobby but the rooms are really bad."

"Stayed at the New Yorker Hotel and it was honestly not worth the price. The hallways are outdated and the “city view” room we were given was basically a corner wall with barely any view of MSG. You’re mainly paying for the location in the heart of NYC. What really ruined the experience was how we were treated regarding their smoking policy. I asked a worker if there was any balcony or smoking area available and was told no, to just smoke outside. Cool, no problem. The next morning at 9AM...

"The Park Central is conveniently located in Midtown near Central Park and Times Square. The elevators take a long time, so give yourself extra time if you have somewhere to be. The beds were clean and comfy. The walls were thin enough that we were able to hear other guests loudly throughout the night.
