The Space:
This 45 sqm | 484 sq ft condo at Torres Cantera is inside a 24/7 gated residential area that sits on a location on top of a small hill overlooking La Paz Bay. The elevation provides some of the best views of the bay and the Sea of Cortez from your private balcony. The development includes two swimming pools, a gym, a movie theater, a rec room with games, an area for kids to play, and beautifully manicured grounds. Other Things to Note:
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The area experiences water shortages where at times you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom).

Please note that the pool is not heated.

Surveillance cameras are used on the exterior areas of the property solely for guest safety and security.

Please refrain from consuming food or beverages in the living room.

Please follow all pool rules at the complex. All guests must wear swimwear. Entry to the pool area is permitted only when wearing suitable swimwear.

We invite all our guests to help us care for this precious asset, following these recommendations:
- Close the faucet while you wash your dishes
- Turn off the faucet while brushing your teeth or lathering your hands
- Take shorter baths/showers & turn off the faucet when lathering
- If you use the washing machine, please wash only when you have a full load

We appreciate your support and understanding & must remind you that the property has water tanks and a full cistern upon delivery of the property. If it is necessary to refill the water, it will be the guest's responsibility.

Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, bed linens, bath towels, and some essentials are provided free for guests during your stay.

We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and bath towels.

Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture, or wall stains will be charged at check out.

There is no daily housekeeping service, but if you’d like to arrange for the place to be cleaned during your stay, it can be arranged at an additional charge.

Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee, in this case, charged on the day of check-in to be paid in cash to our local team.
Please turn off all fans, AC devices, and lights. A default will be a $20.00 USD fine.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

A security deposit may be required before arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

Please note that the washer/dryer is not available until further notice.

HOUSE RULES:
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed in the condo and the use of any recreational drugs in the house is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Please avoid sitting on the sofas while wearing wet clothes - this practice stains fabrics and creates mold. You will be responsible for any damages made to the furniture during your stay.
- Please close and lock all doors and windows upon check out. By failing to do so you will incur a penalty of $50 USD.

To ensure full transparency, we want to let you know that the upkeep of common areas is managed by the complex administration. While we strive to provide an excellent experience, the condition of these areas is beyond our control. By sharing this in advance, we aim to keep your expectations aligned and maintain the high standards we are committed to.

As a precaution, please do not lock the interior doors, as we do not have keys to open them if needed. If locked, we would need to call a locksmith and guests would be responsible for covering the fees.

Interaction with Guests:
This is a self-check-in property. First, note that the residential area is a guard gated. You’ll need to drive to the visitor’s gate on the right to get checked in by the guard and then continue to the condo building. The condo building, Torres Cantera, where you’re staying, also has controlled gated access entry. All the access information and codes if needed, will be sent to you within 24 hours of your arrival.

You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we’re available 7 days a week. Should you need anything, just send us a message.

El departamento necesita más limpieza.. las ventanas sucias de la recámara , la ropa de cama no estaba limpia, el sillón de la sala sucio. Lo único bueno fue la respuesta inmediatamente . No volvería a quedarme

Response time was good when we had issues. The view was very nice & the pool was great although kind of cold. The bowls etc in the cabinets were dirty (couple of dead spiders as well) so spent all afternoon wiping them all out & washing everything. Every day we ended up killing a bunch of small ants on the counter & stove (so we kept almost everything in the fridge). Possibly from the rotten kitchen cupboard below? We were booked to stay for a month. Condo poorly stocked. No toaster oven or oven so limited cooking options. No dish cloths, only a sponge & 1 drying cloth. Not enough cutlery or plates, only 2 bath towels & 1 hand towel, bed sheets very stained and no extras, no blanket only bedspread. When I asked for some extra cutlery etc we were told we had to buy our own if we wanted anything extra. We ended up spending over 1000 pesos to purchase what should have been there. The bed was extremely hard, we ended up spending 1200 pesos on a foam bed topper. The couch was extremely uncomfortable, the kitchen chairs were not comfortable and very unstable, the patio chairs were also hard. There was not a comfortable place in the condo to relax. After 3 weeks of being miserable, we rented another place to salvage our last week which cost us 16,000 pesos. Thankfully the new landlord gave us a discounted price when she heard our story. I feel 2 stars is a generous rating and only gave that for the pool and the view.

Nice place to stay, great views!

I really enjoyed my time here. The view is amazing, had beautiful sunsets every night. I did wish it was walkable and I would definitely recommend renting a car if you stay here since it’s further out. The best part though are the security staff. I felt really safe. Jesus is amazing, he went above and beyond to help me when I lost my phone one day. Everyone here was so nice to me. I’d definitely stay here again!

Service with Property Manager is Poor

Cute apartment with a great view of the city & ocean. Major issue was with the property manager - VERY poor customer service. They advertised a washer/dryer. Put a load in and the spin cycle didn't work - had to deal with a load of soaking wet clothes. They said it was not a provided amenity since it was not working, but I showed them that it was present on the listing. Then they made me send numerous videos before they would agree to send maintenance, including a video of the soaking wet clothes (even though they already knew the washer had issues). Took 2 days to fix. Put in another load - still not fixed. Now they wanted me to send more videos - NO! Spent numerous hours going back and forth with them, and they offered no compensation. When I told them we should we receive compensation they offered 18 (15% of the rental portion of the bill). I told them this was not acceptable for being mislead, the hassle and all the back-and-forth. They asked me to provide a compensation amount that I thought was fair and that they would review it - so I did. Then they came back and said they could offer no more than 15% or 18 -- so why would they aske me to provide an amount if they were never going to consider it. Lots of games, with no professionalism. I will never rent a property with this management company again.

The condo was beautiful and very clean, I just wish they would give more information as far as the location. Unless you have your own car, you’ll be spending too much money to get into town, it’s wayyy too far from the closest street where you could get public transportation

Great clean view condo

I would highly recommend this condo if you are planning to stay in La Paz for a few nights. Pros: very clean, fantastic sunset views from a living room balcony and bedroom, sunrise view on another side from the kitchen... make a coffee and enjoy beautiful sunrise!, kitchen, blender, coffee, washing/dryer, closet... ALL you need! Additionally, swimming pool, jacuzzi, very friendly and polite security. Host is very responding and caring, too. Location is close enough to waterfront and all activities. I don't see any cons, really! Unless you are too picky re. coming through security gate (condo very protected from strangers coming), driving a couple min to the hill (if you take main road from waterfront), or ready to listen an occasional dogs barks from nearest neighborhood (this is Mexico - lots of dogs everywhere). I would definitely consider recommending this condo to my friends or stay myself if we are back to La Paz.

Condo with a lot of pool options

Nice views and close to Malarcon, great friendly security, good pool options, like the laundry facility, good starter packs (soap/napkins/toilet paper, soaps, etc) wifi good. Would have liked a larger coffee pot, tv in the bedroom, hot water in shower gets cold quick or super hot for a long time. The toilet bottom also was leaking toilet water.

No internet plus leaking toilet

This property is in an excellent location. This stay would have been much better but there are a couple of issues. Number one, the internet service was not working. This caused a big issue as I work remotely. The biggest issue was the leaking toilet. The toilet would leak water all over the floor after every time we flushed, and it caused dirty toilet water to get all over the floor. That was disgusting. I reached out to the manager I regards to both, and they did nothing to resolve these problems. I would not recommend staying here. You have way better options.
