It is hard to figure out how to work the lights in the room, and there are no easy instructions. It is not a quiet hotel, but that is a tradeoff for being in a neighborhood. The staff are helpful but there seems to be a philosophy to offer minimal support to customers."

"Every person on the staff was approachable, nice, and super helpful. The king bed was very comfy. The room was very clean and quiet though the cars honking outside were loud on Friday night into the early hours (but c'mon, you're in NYC). Much less so Saturday and Sunday. There's also a night club on the weekends by we couldn't hear a thing on the eight floor. The 24 hour diner downstairs was extremely convenient, tasty, and gave off the vibe of a bygone era in a good way."
