"Lovely hotel situated deep within the Langdale valley. Fantastic walking options from the front door. The restaurant & bar are a very welcome oasis at the end of a day’s walking. Gorgeous views to be had all around. Ample parking available. Our bathroom could’ve done with a bit of work (extractor fan not working), but otherwise very comfortable and recommended."

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. "We had a great 6 day stay at the Damson Dene. All the staff are super friendly. Had a couple of SPA treatments with Sharon, they were amazing and so reasonable priced.
