"The hotel was very clean and the room look as one in a more expensive hotel.However, there was no elevator and we had to carry our luggage on a very narrow staircase. Limited reception time(which they disclosed) made us worry not to açcess the room is any delay happened. It was not the case but we didn't like the risk."

"The room was small, but renovated and clean. The bed was a little hard for me. I was only staying for one night so location wasn’t critical for me. However, the Waldorf is far enough away from E. Hastings to feel safe, but still close enough that it’s not comfortable for venturing too far on my own. All in all, I think the Waldorf has done a wonderful job of creating safety and security in their hotel."

"The parking off site wasnt too bad . The pier was available not so sure how this will work im summer visits. I wasnt too keen on the lobby bathroom being in the pub 2 doors down ??? The staff member Pedro was so awesome with his service!!! He brought us ice and fixed our TV!!!!
Thank you for the history lesson as well. I love learning about the places I stay in. This was one of the oldest hotels ive stayed in. Its cleanliness was incredible!

"I stayed here for 3 nights and had no issues during my stay. The room was clean and included a kitchen, which was convenient. I had limited interaction with the staff since I was out exploring most days, but the front desk was always staffed and I felt safe as a solo female traveller. The rooms are a bit dated, but the location and price made up for it. Everything I needed was within walking distance, making it a great option for either a short or longer stay."

"The property looked run down from the outside but my room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I appreciated the free breakfast and the location close to YVR and the park. The only concern I had was the shuttle: I had reserved my spot the night before and the shuttle was a little late and the driver barely waited for passengers- he was on and off the property in less than a minute -so it would have been really easy to miss entirely if you weren’t on your toes."
