"The apartment was very comfortable for a small family. Of course, there are details that could be improved, but nothing that affects your stay (you don't expect a 5-star hotel level, do you?). We appreciate the owner's communication and that the flat was very well equipped. The WiFi is working perfectly with good coverage and 200/200 Mbps speed. The location is also great but comes with the only one major downside: that the main bedrooms are very noisy from outside. Somehow, we still slept very...

"Most of the apartment was great, BUT there was a horrible odor that came from the main bathroom mostly from the shower drain. It smelled like dead bodies and rotting diarrhea. We had to keep the bathroom door closed the entire time we were there. I would never rent this apartment again. The management company told us there was nothing they could do about the odor.On top of that there was no hot water when we arrived at the apartment because the hot water heater was turned off and we had to...

"This is a lovely flat, well-equipped and comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. It’s very close to Valencia Nord railway station in an area with lots of East Asian restaurants and takeaways - we ate a different cuisine every night. It’s close to metro stations and a good base for exploring the city. The hosts let us have access to the flat before the usual 4pm start which was very much appreciated, The only small niggle was that we let them know our exact arrival time but still had to wait...

"The communication leading up to the stay had slow response times. The communication became more responsive when our visit got close. There was a very good video for finding the lock box. Initial impression specifically of the entrance, sketchy, in time its very rustic nature became more appealing and quaint. I advise arriving during daylight hours. The apartment was attractive with great lighting, clean and as it appeared on line. The bedrooms had black out shades! Good kitchen. Great...

18. Our Lovely Penthouse with Private Roof Top Terrace!

Centro de Valencia

"We expected to have an air conditioned apartment with elevator. We had one small air conditioner in the bed bedroom upstairs and a fan on the first floor. We were first told the elevator was only for luggage. When we arrived the elevator was not working and we had to walk 66 stairs with our luggage to check in. We survived one night and had to move to a hotel. We reached out to the host for a refund as well as the VRBO team. It has been six days without a resolution."
