Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways brings you this gorgeous, ocean front home that features tranquil finishes and modern decor. The Tranquility Rocks home is located in the heart of Seal Rock and sleeps up to 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. You will love this one story home's dramatic ocean views from the full wall of windows in the living and dining room, and 2 walls of windows in the primary bedroom looking out to the mighty Pacific, as well as enjoying the warm glow of the fireplace (Duraflame or presto logs only). There is easy beach access from the Seal Rock Wayside 1/2 of a mile North of the property or the well known Seal Rock State Park that is just 1/2 of a mile to the South of this fantastic home. The magical drama that Seal Rock is known for will mesmerize you as the endless waves crash into the gorgeous rock outcroppings on the sandy beach below creating a memorable backdrop for incredible sunsets, sunrises, star gazing and storm watching. This home is a one-of-a kind beach getaway for a romantic stay on the coast, a family gathering, or an adventure at the beach with friends. This home also has a washer/dryer.

Explore the sweet hamlet of Seal Rock where residents still appreciate small town life and the raw, undeveloped natural surroundings that thrive along its course. If you prefer solitude and building memories away from the busy tourist destinations, Seal Rock is the place to be. You will find delightful galleries, shops and restaurants to visit. Just North on Highway 101 you'll find the city of Newport with it's expansive bay, fresh seafood and tourist attractions like the Oregon Coast Aquarium. To the South on 101 you'll find the towns of Waldport and then Yachats which are full of antique shops, restaurants, galleries, and gorgeous beaches. The Tranquility Rocks home in Seal Rock is a perfect and peaceful base for your central Oregon coastal adventure.

Sleeps up to 6 - 3 Bedrooms: 2 Kings, (one of which can be converted into two Twins -- with 72 hour prior notice) 1 Queen, 1.5 Baths
Vehicles: Licensed for 3 (strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.
*Each home is individually owned. Amenities and furnishings are subject to change at any time. Please contact our office with any questions.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

Lovely beach house with stunning views!

We've stayed at many homes on the Oregon Coast, and this was one of our favorites. I was worried about it being right off the highway- but you can't hear the cars inside. The ocean views and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Loved the HOT hot tub and comfortable king bed in the master bedroom. We look forward to staying again!

Coastal Refresh Sesh

Spectacular property with all the things you could ever dream of. The views and beach access were amazing. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could dream of. Just be aware if you are bringing a pup that there isn’t a fully fenced space and the property is between the highway and a cliff above the beach. But very manageable with the beach below. Hopeful we can return again soon.

Nice house

But it obviously was not cleaned before we got there, dog friendly house many stains on the carpet, dog hair everywhere and any flat surface was dusty! Nice house, hotub fire pit chairs to enjoy the scenery

Thoroughly enjoyed!

We loved the home, views, hot tub, outdoor seating areas, beach access, along with the proximity to Yachats and Newport! Highly recommend staying at Tranquility Rocks if you’re wanting to explore this portion of the Oregon Coast.

Beautiful little getaway

This place is so charming and beautiful! We loved staying here. Getting down to the beach can be hard if you’re not in good shape, however we had no issues! Definitely check out the beach when the tide is low what a treat.

Over the Moon

Where do I start? The location, the views, the garden, the beach - it was all just spectacular. Perhaps what I loved most about this house was the number and variety of places where you can just sit peacefully and drink in the absolutely breathtaking beauty. We are a family of five, and the space was just big enough for us, but it had everything we needed, and there has obviously been a lot of thought put into making guests comfortable here. I would definitely come back!

Wonderful!

We loved this house! It was a lovely location, with a perfect view of the north side of Seal Rock. We enjoyed the hot tub, the campfire, and, of course, the beach access. Perfectly situated in between Newport and Waldport, and easy to reach and find. We come to the Oregon Coast every year and this has been my favorite rental yet. Thank you!

Great trip to the coast

We really enjoyed the view. It was fantastic. We enjoyed the house and all, but we found the place pretty dusting and lots of cobwebs up in the sky light. For the amount we pay for the cleaning fee I was expecting the place to at least be dusted. Looks like the top of things were dusted, but if it had lower shelves they had many layers of dust.

Beach access and amazing tide pools

The location with beach access and amazing outdoor spaces made for a great stay. The steps are steep to get to the beach, but worth it to see the tide pools and seals swimming. Views from the home are incredible. There was an ant problem while we were there and we also encountered a lot of pet hair. Aside from those issues, the location was great to walk over to the coffee shop and we enjoyed a few meals at Luna’s Sea House.

A Beautiful Getaway

This property has such a stunning view! The master bedroom has a window nearly the size of the entire back wall with a stunning look over the landscaped yard at the ocean. The kitchen is well appointed and the home has lots of comfortable seating and space to unwind and enjoy your stay at the coast. We will certainly be back.

Friendsgiving

Great location overlooking beach. We had an amazing time with friends for Thanksgiving. 6 people and two dogs and we didn’t feel cramped. The bathroom could use a facelift, otherwise we had a blast. Folks were asking about completing handrail down to the beach. It gets pretty steep and slippery. When you burn those logs in the fireplace, the people in the back by the bathroom can smell smoke, so we didn’t burn any on the tail end of trip. Two of the six people recently lost our mothers and this trip was just what we needed! Thank you so much for sharing your home

Beautiful views

We loved our stay at the house. We celebrated my in-laws 50th anniversary and the house was perfect. The views were amazing. The hot tub was perfect. And the house was ideal. We had 6 adults and the house was plenty of space; especially since we spent most of our time outside!
