This property is UNBELIEVABLE - even better than the photos! The home itself is gorgeous and designed to complement the beautiful, natural surroundings - lovely stone and wood and so many wonderful design touches! Every detail was thought of when considering guest needs - plenty of fridge space and ice (even at the dock!), a coffee bar area, spacious showers...the list goes on! But what made the property particularly spectacular for us was the outdoor space - multiple covered decks with comfy furniture and the dock area! The kids and teens loved the water trampoline, kayaks, and paddleboard. And the game room was also fun; we especially enjoyed playing shuffle board, a rare treat! We had 3 families stay at this home with plenty of space - it worked out perfectly! Where this home is located on the water is a bit quieter, with less lake traffic which we appreciated. We rented a boat and cruised around, lots to see and do within a short distance - cliffs for jumping, a little island with sandy shores, etc. Lastly, communication was fantastic with timely responses to any questions we sent ahead of our stay. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning to this gem in the future!

Nothing Short of Amazing!!!

We just got home to Nashville after a fabulous stay at this home on Smith Lake. Where do I begin? Oftentimes when we rent a home for vacation, the pictures prove better than the actual house. In this situation, the home FAR exceeded our expectations based on the pictures. The home owners thought of EVERYTHING! From smart home technology, to indoor games like ping pong and shuffleboard, to amazing outdoor spaces that we didn’t even begin to exhaust, to plenty of recreational toys at the dock…we could have stayed a week and still not have done everything. The view out the back of the home is incredible and the owners designed the outdoor spaces so perfectly for guests to enjoy these amazing views. The master bath is a dream…from the waterfall rock shower to the spa bath…both look out on the lake and the national forest and create such a peaceful mood. The location of the home on the lake is perfect…not too busy so the kids can swim, kayak, and jump off the dock without tons of boats zooming by. The dock is also equipped with Shock IQ which was important to our peace of mind since the dock has electricity running to it. If I could leave a 20-star review, I would! Monty was a fabulous host and we truly had the best experience staying at this home! One thing to note is that there is about 5 miles of gravel road prior to arriving at the home. If you find yourself annoyed with the gravel road, just remember that it is leading you to the most amazing home and location!!!

Lots of extras on this property…first class accommodations. Monty did an excellent job of hosting with timely check ins to make sure we were satisfied with everything.
