A Place in the Sun

This is a well-appointed condo with all kitchen gadgets you need. It has a relatively nice view of the lake. The furniture is a bit weathered, but the condo itself is clean and was enough room to accommodate our family.

Lake Chelan Shores was great for families with multiple pools, beach and swimming access, sports and amenities. The condo itself was functional. The living room furniture is a bit outdated which took away from the overall comfort of the living space but we had everything we needed.

Fall Weekend stay in Chelan

We always stay at Lake Chelan Shores when we come to Chelan. The unit was very nice and great view of the lake. My only complaint about this unit is the bed was too small for my wife and I. We are used to a much bigger bed. This unit was very clean and well maintained and that’s why we only stay at Lake Chelan Shores.

A LOT to love!

Our positive first impression was confirmed during our stay! The community is beautiful and pristine. There is SO much to do, in addition to enjoying the view: outdoor pools and hot tubs, pickleball, tennis, volleyball, basketball…and green spaces for free play. It’s just a 10-minute drive into Chelan for groceries, dining and shopping. Our unit was spotless and nicely furnished and the bed was comfy. If you plan to prepare meals during your stay, you’ll need to pack or purchase some basics like S & P, cooking oil, coffee/tea, etc. There are plenty of towels, dishes, and cooking utensils. This is a friendly, safe, secure property. We look forward to returning for a longer stay!

Great location. We also love the home. Very nice updated kitchen and bathroom. But the only complaint is the comfort of the mattress in the bedroom. We did not sleep very well. Other than that we enjoyed our time there.

Nice unit with good personal furniture and refrigerator. Bedroom very cramped and the closet was full of owners' belongings. Kitchen was poorly lighted.

Thumper upstairs

This is the second year we stayed in this condo. The first year we loved it however, this year not so much. The condo was great, clean and even had a brand new barbecue. We had mentioned that the barbecue needed to be replaced in last year’s review so the owner does take note of suggestions. The problem was the owner upstairs in condo 18-7 who had a very heavy foot, a continuous thump, thump, thump - back and forth. This continued each day of our stay but it did not bother us if we were in during the day. However, each night at approx.12:00 pm she would stomp across the floor then again each morning between 5:28 to 6:00 am. This was way too early in the morning for a person who is on vacation. The steps were those of a woman who we think had dogs as she would take her dogs out last thing at night then get up and let them out in the early morning. Each morning, each night, same time every day. It seemed like she had very little regard for other people. One day my wife and I were having lunch on our patio and the same person started shaking a rug out above us and all the dust was coming down on us and onto our food. We did not say anything but thought of going up there many times. We feel when a person is paying that amount of money for accommodations you should be able to sleep to an appropriate time. We love Lake Chelan but we do not want a repeat of this next year so we might rethink our options and book somewhere else. I also feel adamant that this person upstairs should be told about this for future consideration of other people. Mel & Cindy
