The cabin was very clean and offered good privacy from neighbors, it was a great safe space for us to relax and unwind. The metal roof on rainy afternoons added to the experience. Grocery and gas and a delicious coffee/latte shop is within a 3 minute drive. Only thing we added was a mattress topper to one of the old spring mattresses. We would love to return for another stay.

Terrible. Mattresses were very poor, no table to even sit at to eat, shower door broken, drawers dirty with hair and moths. Almost worst place ever rented.

MUCH NEEDED RETREAT

Our Cabin was very easy to find. The cabin was clean, and the amenities, were more, than we could ask for and much appreciated. The porch was my favorite spot, and the gas grill was much easy and fabulous to use. A BIG, TY to our Host I will definitely stay again.

Weekend Stay

Our weekend was great. The location was nice and the cabin was clean. Only thing would change is the mattresses on bed were a little uncomfortable could maybe use a mattress topper also maybe a throw blanket for the couch.

Great little cabin

I have stayed at many cabins, and was pleasantly surprised at how cozy and thought out this place is. I always pack extra toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, dish soap, etc because although a place supplies those things, I always run out before my stay is over. Not here though! There were plenty of these items and more. The kitchen is stocked. Just bring your food. There are plenty of stores close by for supplies. It is very quiet and peaceful on the little porch rocker. They have a grill with propane on the porch. There is also a fire pit with a stack of wood. Indian Creek is just a couple of miles down the road. I highly recommend for a weekend retreat. I will definitely recommend. Check in and out was super easy.

It was amazing . We had family that rented two cabins on the same property. The cabins were clean and in great shape . The landscape was amazing and it was secluded and peaceful. We will be returning again in june

Another trip to the rain forest

KWe’ve been renting this property for the last 4 years. It was absolutely wonderful in the beginning but has steadily gone down. It needs a deep cleaning. Also the bench swing is now gone which reduces seating outside.

Peace and quiet

It was a great place to stay at me and my son and grandson was able to hunt while my wife and my daughter-in-law was able to see the cabin and read books and they really enjoyed the atmosphere

Tranquility

This is the 4th time we’ve stayed at the cabin. There are many positive attributes to staying at the cabin; however, there seems to be a decline in upkeep , including cleanliness of the the property.

Quiet Cabin

Stayed here while visiting family, very clean and quiet. Couldn’t hear the rooster from inside the cabin which was nice. Very easy to get to, well taken care of and the price was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

Getaway trip

We stayed here for a quick getaway to visit home and visit grandparents gravesite nearby, Cabin was clean and had the essentials needed. Washer and dryer was a plus! Cabin was peaceful and secluded -Just what we needed. We bought an Air mattress to sleep on, beds were new I believe, just wasn’t comfortable to us. But that’s no fault of the owners. Close to Indian Creek Reservoir, which was convenient. Even though fishing wasn’t good while we were here. Beautiful lake :) if you need a little donut for breakfast-visit the donut shop-you’ll most likely meet the Mayor. He was very nice! Hunts brothers pizza at gas station was convenient and good after being on lake for day. Alexandria is close for dinner options. Outlaw BBQ was delicious and reasonable. Fiery Crab was AMAZING our last nights dinner. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay. Candace and her husband were very helpful and accommodating :)

Great Location / Misrepresented with Property Description

Kitchen had only two plates that did not match, only one hi-ball glass, three mismatched coffee mugs. Advertised as no pets, but the couch smelled like a wet dog and there was dog hair. On the porch was a dog watering bowl and a dog toy was left in the yard. The outdoor firepit was not useable as it was completely full of ashes mud and trash cigarette butts. No swing exists as in the pictures. The location is fantastic, but the property needs some TLC and updating. It would be perfect if it was truly as it was described, and it could be redeemed with a little time and small amount of money to bring it back to it's original standard.
