Here you can spend your days relaxing in this luxury home, exploring the trails, playing golf foosball, ping pong or board games and stargazing from the private hot tub. Immerse yourself into full R&R mode here at the Fairway 17.

Fairway 17 is a grand yet cozy chalet designed to accommodate up to 10 guests looking for a relaxing, and adventurous escape tucked away in the Canadian mountains. Whether you’re the “outdoorsy” or the “stay-in and relax ” type, this home has everything you need for a memorable vacation.

Location, Location, Location!

Windermere Valley Golf Course is only steps from your door and is a great pick for families with young golfers. Check out their junior golf program that allows young ones to play for free. They also have a great restaurant on site and a pro shop. Staying here is the perfect place for a laid-back golf vacation the whole family can enjoy.

You’ll also be close to:

Windermere Public Beach (4 km): Enjoy time with family at sparkling Lake Windermere, on its beautiful sandy beach. Windermere Beach is a great option for families with smaller children because it’s less crowded than more popular beaches in Invermere and offers shallow water for young children to paddle and play in. It’s also a great spot for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and watching the wildlife that calls Lake Windermere home. James Chabot Beach is also close by with amenities for picnicking, grilling, and bathroom facilities.

Radium Hot Springs (22 km): Just 20 minutes away are Radium’s famous natural hot springs. Here you can plan to head over with the family and experience soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The Whiteway (4 km): If you’re visiting during the winter, do not miss out on visiting The Whiteway - a 30km multi-use trail groomed for cross-country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the world’s longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records. You can find an access point at Windermere Beach and Kinsmen Beach.

Other sought-after golf courses: The Grey Wolf Golf Course, a world-renowned course ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada, perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains as well as Copper Point Golf Course and Eagle Ranch Resort.

The Farmer’s Market - Enjoy shopping for fresh produce and local specialties every Saturday morning at the Invermere Farmer’s Market during the summer.

You will need a vehicle to get around from here but everything is close by. World-class golfing and skiing in every direction!

HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 10 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. No pets of any kind are allowed on this property.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Any items that are mistakenly left behind that you wish to have returned will be shipped via Cash on Delivery along with a $30.00 admin fee.

7. Hot tub use should be restricted to 30 minutes and avoided by anyone who may be pregnant. After each use, it is the guest’s responsibility to add 1 cap of boost granules (chlorine granules) into the middle of the hot tub while the jets are turned on for 20 minutes. Please leave the lid open for 45 minutes and remember to close the lid to avoid turning it into a cold plunge! We find that this is best done at the end of the evening as the hot tub should not be used for 3 hours following the chlorine cycle. If you remove the chlorine floater during your use it is the guest’s responsibility to make sure it is placed back in the hot tub after each use. We ask that if you are enjoying a beverage in the tub you only use plastic cups. If the hot tub water is not properly maintained and requires more than 1 site visit for maintenance and/or a full drain and refill, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.

Perfect last minute getaway

When the wildfires in BC caused us to have to cancel our trip, we reached out right away and were happy to see this house available for us on short notice. The house was exactly as advertised, lots of room, good size rooms and good beds. Hot tub had fresh water everything was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, cutlery, glasses etc. The only things we felt that could be improved to make this house perfect was a couple more chairs and a bigger dining table. The house has 4 queen beds to sleep 8, but only 6 chairs for the dining table. We had to make due with a stool and a computer chair. Also we only had 8 towel in the house. We ended up buying some beach towels to use for the hottub so our towel didn't have to do double duty. Other than that, everything else was great. Beautiful views, lots of room to relax and lots of outdoor space for games. Would definitely rent this house again.
