KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen features all the amenities you need to prepare home cooked meals with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also a dishwasher so you can sit back and relax after your meal. Quart work surfaces complete the space.
DINING AREA
The dining area is the ideal spot to gather your loved ones and enjoy a meal together or host a games night after a day of exploring the local area.
LIVING AREA
The television in the living area features is a Smart TV offers a selection of terrestrial and freeview channels and allows you to log into your own Netflix account to catch up on your favourite shows.
BEDROOM
The master bedroom features a super king bed and the second bedroom features a super king and a large single. Both bedrooms feature a dressing table with stool and a freestanding wardrobe and chest of drawers to store your personal items. With sumptuous bedding and luxury linen you are guaranteed a peaceful night sleep. Before you head off, why not enjoy some viewing on the Smart TV? Both super-king beds can be split into two singles upon request.
BATHROOM
The apartment is home to two bathrooms. The master bathroom features a bath, shower, WC and basin while the second is a shower room with WC and basin.
The backlit mirror in the master bathroom has a bluetooth connection so you can connect your favourite playlist and enjoy a sing-along in the bath.
Chilton at Carlil features a small manicured garden area to the front of the property and benefits from on site private parking for up to one vehicle, a real luxury in Whitby.

Chilton at Carlill has private on-site parking for one vehicle. The parking space comfortably accommodates a medium-sized vehicle.
The Neighborhood:
Set on the West side of Whitby you can expect exceptional views and a fabulous central location. Just a short walk along the promenade will bring you to the town centre.
Head to Pier Road and you’ll find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.
Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks. Scaling Dam, conveniently located between
Whitby and Guisborough, has access to walks, fishing and sailing lessons. Boat rides and fishing trips can also be found from Whitby harbour. Seasonal speed boat rides are also available in Scarborough.
Whitby's Pannett Park is ideal for walks, and has children's play area and art gallery.
Malton is a market town within easy reach of Whitby, which has earned a reputation as the 'food capital' of North Yorkshire. Also near Malton is Flamingo Land, a family theme park, while between Whitby and Malton is the village of Goathland where Heartbeat was filmed.
York lies approximately 75 minutes away from Whitby by car. York offers a wide range of tourists attractions including the York Minster, the Shambles, York Dungeon, National Railway Museum and the renowned Betty's tearooms.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Chilton at Carlil.
Whitby train station is less than half a mile away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is available from Whitby which makes for an iconic journey across the North Yorkshire moors.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
