This dry cabin is beyond basic.Cozy,clean,fully equipped, and has extra items to make one's stay enjoyable.The host is very nice.

My cousin and I stayed here 3 nights for our very first trip to Alaska! We had an unforgettable time here and felt very comfortable every night :D. The heater was great, the kitchen area was used everyday, the movie selection was amazing, the location was wonderful, no complaints what so ever. Thank you Curt!

Great pet-friendly cabin short drive from downtown Talkeetna. Curt was super friendly and so was his dog. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Host was great. Beautiful location. Comfortable. First real stay in dry cabin. We traveled mostly so only there to sleep, but would definitely recommend it.

Cabin is exactly what the listing describes. It was perfect for our adventures around Talkeetna! We met the host just prior to checking out and he is fantastic! Would 100% recommend!

My wife and I enyoyed a nice sunny weekend here. Wifi was a little spotty, but everything else was great. Curt was welcoming and very friendly.

Great cabin in the middle of Anchorage, conveniently located, beautifully remodeled, clean, comfortable bed, quiet! Great place to stay!

It was good for one night. Only a portable toilet inside. No running water. No way to clean up. Easy to get to and close to town but no view. Did have some instant breakfast items and coffee.

The cabin was clean, well set up, and the host was very nice. The composting toilet is a compact, self-contained, above-floor unit, and the diverting flap was visibly soiled, which was immediately noticeable when the lever was shifted. The toilet stall is also open to the room, with an uncovered half-moon cutout and walls that do not fully extend to the ceiling. While we understood the cabin would be rustic, this lack of privacy made the toilet experience a bit too intimate for people sharing a small space. We are lifelong Alaskans, so we've been there and done that, but we weren't expecting to experience each other's eliminations with quite so much surround sound and smell-o-vision.

Nice little cabin

This is a nice little cabin and at check in we were greeted by the owner and showed around. Fun little place to stay near talkeetna.
