Walk to Beach, restaurants, bars and shops “The Big House"

This adorable block and stone home was built in 1955, still some of the original inside intact, it's super clean with terrazzo flooring and tile.
Super clean, tastefully and minimally decorated with a bit of unique furnishings that will make you feel really happy that you choose our place!
You are only 1/2 mile to the beach, and surrounded by restaurants, bars and shopping. The Yellow Banks Orange Grove is right around the corner with the best orange and vanilla swirl you will ever have! You can walk to several nature parks, marina, water park, restaurants, pubs, the beach and ride bikes on the Pinellas Bike trail.
The Big House has room for a large family, 1 king bed, 2 queens and 2 small futons.
The full size kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for a quick weekend get-a-way of a few months in the winter. 2 full baths, 1 walk in shower and 1 tub is a plus for big families too!
There is free WiFi...BLAZING fast Spectrum internet and a TV in the living room with access to all streaming services. Some are free or you can login to your own Netflix, Hulu, HBOGO, etc.
The neighborhood has long time residents, families and loads of friends! This is a Quiet neighborhood not like the crazy beach rentals and not for parties.
Area nature parks with natural beauty and walking trails are a must!
"The Big House" is about 35 above sea level, meaning you never will be flooded or have to evacuate!
After your booking is complete Lynne will send you a code, the code is changed after each guest for your safety and security.
With your stay you get samples of my local famous Island Rum Cake and a gift certificate to PJ's Oyster Bar!
We have been called clean freaks because we wash our all bedding, quilts, pillow shams and blankets between each guest! So you can rest easy!

The Big House

This property was perfect for our short vacation. Everything was 20 mins or less away. We visited sand key beach and multiple restaurants. Highly recommend!! The only drawback is there are no TV’s in the bedrooms, but that didn’t detract from our stay.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time visiting the area. The house was very clean and just as advertised. It was so nice to have the wagon with beach chairs and cooler to take to the beach. The beach is within walking distance, but it’s a little hike and you’d want to have a car if visiting with children. Communication with the owners was excellent. I would definitely rent here again!

The Big House!

My first VRBO rental could not have been any better! Everything about the house was better than described. I felt like I was at home. Beautiful house, comfortable 3 bedrooms, awesome bathrooms/showers, great location to everything! So many amenities, too! 10 stars, easily!! Lynne was wonderful to talk to. Can’t wait to use her again!!

Living Large in Largo

We had a wonderful stay in the Big House. Everything was perfect from location to household. Lynne was very kind and responds quickly to any questions. We could easily walk to Indian Rocks Beach which we loved. I hope to go back next year.

The Big house experience

We visited Clearwater/Largo for a family reunion weekend. All went well, if i could have controlled the mosquitoes around the house things outside would have been a lot better. All the family events were held in other places, but being able to sit outside in the mornings, read and enjoy a good cup of coffee was almost impossible. Maybe next trip will be in the winter🤔.

VERY Clean! Quiet neighborhood. Friendly, kind and prompt communication with Lynne, the owner. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. spacious fenced in back yard for kids and adults alike. Great location...walk to beach...restaurants nearby. reliable fast internet.

Could not have been better!

We booked this house for family and they could not have been any happier. It was so clean and they accommodations allowed everyone to spread out and have their own space. The proximity to the beach was perfect and we were easily able to get to Madeira Beach. It’s Sankey Beach and Clearwater in no time. The owners were easily accessible, but everything was so great. We did not need them. If we have family again here, I would hope that it is available and would highly recommend!

Girls trip

Mom’s only trip for a relaxing long weekend at the beach! The host was great to communicate with and the house was very clean! They even had chairs, a cooler and a wagon we could use to take to the beach with us since we flew to FL and couldn’t bring those supplies along. We had a great trip!

Great big house

Perfect house for a large family. Clean space and great communication with host. Loved there were beach chairs and a wagon to walk to beach (20 min). Provided rum cakes and coupon to PJ's oyster bar was a nice added touch!

Spacious home with all the amenities

This home is located just minutes from Indian Rocks Beach, tons of restaurants and activities. We were surprised at how much room there was in this home. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and had closets and plenty of hangers. The kitchen had everything we could ever need. The bathrooms were very spacious. I really liked that checkout was a breeze. Lynn was very responsive and answered all of our questions right away. I would highly recommend staying at any of Lynn's properties. Thank you so much Lynn! We had a fabulous time and can't wait to do it again soon!

Traveled for business

Property was close to beaches, shopping etc. Traveled for work so didn't get to enjoy much of the house or the surronding areas. Owner was always avaliable.
