Great Location, Limited Supplies
This was a wonderful location! Even though it is next to a school, the neighborhood was quiet. There was a large yard and a nice screened in patio with a TV.
A small hiccup with check-in, as we did not get the check-in code by the 4:00 check in time and it wasn't until after a text, a phone call, and a call to VRBO customer service that we were finally able to reach the host and get into the house. It was after that interaction that we received the email with how to get in (but the door code was different than what we were told). No big deal though, we were able to get in and put the groceries away!
The house was clean & just the right amount of space for the two of us. It looked very modern and nicely redone. We were able to connect to the wifi easily.
When going to cook dinner we realized that there was very minimal supplies in the kitchen - no hot mitts, sheet pans, measuring cups/spoons, mixing bowls, ice trays...which made cooking pizza & making pancakes in the morning very difficult. There were also limited towels, with none in the kitchen. Although a new kitchen, the stove had an error on it constantly and the dishwasher didn't lock shut. We did contact the host about the dishwasher and they said the cleaning company would handle it. I did find the plates in the cabinet were dirty & I had to wash them before use. The "bowls" were also more like plates with a small lip.
Overall, we had a great trip & would stay there again, bringing a few more supplies next time.
