Once you enter Sandy Feet Retreat you realize you have found a hidden gem!

Sandy Feet Retreat is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a small family vacation to relax and unwind. This 2 bedroom 2 bath beach cottage has been renovated top to bottom.

The open concept layout in the gathering areas gives an airy feel with the fully equipped kitchen and custom built coffee bar flanking the walls. The wrap around couch is the perfect place to gather for a romantic movie night on the big screen smart tv.

When your ready to call it a day and dream up tomorrow’s adventures the primary bedroom offers a queen bed, large screen TV plus private bathroom with walk in shower. Guest bedroom features a Murphy sofa bed and Tv plus access to screened patio. There is a shared bathroom also featuring a walk in shower. There is also a full size washer and dryer so you can pack light!

Wander outside to enjoy the screened porch with an outside kitchen and serve up the fresh catch on the propane grill. Take a dip in the private pool (heated for a fee of $250) or soak in the hot tub after showering the sand off in our outdoor shower. The back yard is completely fenced and a private oasis.

The beach is a short minute stroll out the front door and made even easier with the provided beach cart and chairs, or use the provided bicycles to cruise A1A Beach Blvd.

Just literal steps to the ocean, local favorite restaurants and coffeeshops, and a short 10-15 minute drive to Historic St Augustine.

The unit will be equipped, just like a personal home. There are linens plus spares provided in each bedroom, towels (bath and beach), dishes, bake ware, etc. in each kitchen for easy meal prep. There are 2-3 beach chairs and several beach toys provided (we do not provide umbrellas as they are a safety hazard). There are several groceries stores within a half a mile, however we do start you off with a starter pack of cleaning and paper goods:

* 1 Toiletry Bag per bathroom (travel size with shampoo, conditioner and lotion)
* 2 Toilet Paper Rolls per bathroom
* 1 Paper Towel Roll
* 1 Bottle of Dish Soap
* 1 Bottle of Hand Soap per bathroom
* Dishwasher tabs
* Laundry Soap
* Several Kitchen Trash Bags
* New Sponge
* General Purpose cleaning spray or wipes

Really all you have to bring is your personal toothbrush, your clothes and start enjoying yourself and relax.

The house was outstanding! It would be beneficial to have the growth covering the hot tub clipped back to facilitate ease of use and better comfort. The outdoor TV would not turn on. We change the batteries in the remotes and looked at all the connections. We couldn’t use the TV out by the pool. We will definitely be looking for this opportunity in the future. Thank you.

Another excellent visit

We booked this cozy house for the 2nd time, and it was just as perfect as our 1st visit. My husband and I work 50-70 hrs a week, so this was a getaway to relax and unwind. The pool, hot tub, grill and outdoor tvs were all we needed gor the week. Hoise is clean and nicely decorated. Bed is comfortable. We will be back!

Excellent little Oasis!

This place is small and compact but is in a great location and checks all the boxes and has a very private backyard and pool that really puts it over the top. There were 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 children. My daughter slept on the couch most nights since she is small and it worked out just fine. My kids chose that over sharing the Murphy bed. We loved having the screened in porch to relax on and the kitchen was well enough appointed for us to cook the majority of nights. We took a drink pitcher with us and glad we did as there was not one there. The bladder worked great too;) A nice coffee shop is literally right through the back gate as well. We never used the hot tub since it was August but it looked to be working fine. We also never used the bikes or beach equipment as we were unable to get into the out building but we didn’t have much use for them and never asked to have that remedied. I’m sure the property manager would have taken care of that if needed as they were very accommodating when we reached out to extend our stay. We visit St Augustine yearly and this place was one of our favorites so far. I would certainly recommend staying here. It would be ideal for 2 people or a couple with 1-2 small children. Lots of great restaurants nearby as well.

Totally relaxing

It was great.Just walk out of the sunroom right outside get in the pool get in the hot tub relaxation. Total privacy. Walking distance to the beach and a lot of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Great for a couple or small family

This property in a great location in Saint Augustine close to the beach, and within walking distance of great restaurants listed as a two bedroom. The second bedroom is only the size of the full size Murphy bed it occupies not ideal for two adult couples. The outdoor spaces including a heated pool, spa and outdoor shower was great. The back gate off the pool area opens right near an incredible coffee shop.

Great oasis at the beach

Sandy Feet is like an oasis within an oasis. The house is a short walk from the beach & has everything for a great getaway. The pool is charming and the beds are comfy. Plenty of linens too. The kitchen is just right for vacationing; perfect for lazy breakfast by the pool or in the cozy screen room. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance too. Would definitely return!

Cozy little house

This little house is a perfect getaway for 2. Beautifully decorated and included the simple necessities. The backyard was our paradise with the pool, hot tub and firepit/tv. We never wanted to leave. Property managers were quick to respond when needed.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was great. The house was clean throughout and the backyard oasis was perfect. A short walk or bike ride to anything at the beach, only 15 mins to historic downtown.

A Getaway within a Getaway

The house is so nice tou dont really need to go anywhere else. We enjoyed making delicious meals, using the pool, hot tub, roasting marshmallows... of course we enjoyed the closeness to the beach and historic St. Augustine. A great stay, dont hesitate to book this house.

Quiet St. Augustine Retreat

Great, easy walk to the beautiful beach. Great restaurants within walking distance. Master bed very comfy, nice big room. The second bedroom doesn’t have any room when the Murphy bed is down, but direct access to the lanai allows extra space. The pool was terrific, but hot tub needed cleaning. The grill is in need of replacement. It would be nice to have a few staples like a few coffee pods, a few bottles of water, salt & pepper, etc. for those who are flying in and need a minute before heading to the grocery. Interior was a nicely decorated, clean, and open space. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Property, Great Location

This cottage is an amazing property - super clean, updated, extremely comfortable, and it has a gorgeous pool/hot tub area in the back. It’s quiet and private, yet a short walk to the beach. This cottage provides everything that you need, and is in a great location. The property management company was responsive and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing

Will rent again. Pool heat never worked but everything else was perfect. 5 star place. Propane tank was empty and 20 minutes later propane arrived. Seconds from beach. Super quiet neighborhood. Will rent again but hopefully heater works, pool was freezing.
