LIVING AREAS

A love seat and sofa (which converts into a queen-size sleeper) offer a fabulous social space for unwinding. The entertainment center boasts a state-of-the-art sound system, DVD player, and flat-screen smart TV with cable.

KITCHEN & DINING

Fully stocked with all the gadgets you’ll need to prepare your favorite foods, the kitchen is outfitted with new white cabinetry, new granite countertops, and new appliances. While dinner simmers, enjoy a cold beverage at the kitchen bar with seating for three.

Gather your group around the dinner table for a lovely family-style meal and relive the day’s escapades. The dining room table seats six. After dinner, mix favorite cocktails at the brand-new wet bar.

BED & BATH

Take in stunning Gulf of Mexico views from the master bedroom’s large, sun-filled windows, or grab a book from the shelves and stretch out on the king bed. This bedroom also provides a smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with granite countertops and a glass walk-in shower.

Suntide II Resort offers a prime location for limitless shopping and dining. Blackbeards, located just a few blocks away, is a local favorite for island cuisine and steaks.

Another South Padre staple is the Wanna Wanna Inn, a beachfront bar and grill with a fun tiki theme and delicious snack foods.

No internet connection

Not enough parking, had a lot of trouble getting access to the property. The internet was not working properly your cell phone internet works better. The RR only had 2 rolls of toilet paper. The back door to the beach we had a lot of trouble opening it. We contacted the manager they never went by to check the internet and other issues. Too much money for the stay.

Vacasa Issues

The property was great. The until was very clean and true to the pictures. It was also fairly quiet even though the unit is near the pool. My primary issue with the stay was Vacasa’s total lack of customer service. The unit has an unnecessarily complicated combination lock on the door. Vacasa sends you a 9 digit code to open it. First, that’s far too long of a code. You shouldn’t have to pull your phone out to open the door every single time you return to the unit. Second, the lock didn’t not work consistently. Vacasa has several videos on their help site that demonstrate how to open the door. None of those videos addressed the problem we were having. They sent a person out to check the door and she had no problem opening it so definitely let me know that it was user error. However, the lock continued not to open consistently. It shouldn’t be this hard. There are thousands of combo locks for doors on the market. There’s no excuse for having one that’s complicated to operate.

Great vacation at Suntide II

Everything was nice and the beach was close and easy to get to. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, even though the wind made it a bit cooler. Furnishings were nice and just as shown in photos. I think the rugs could be replaced/updated. Also, I suggest that anyone who decides to stay here should be very aware of the parking rules and read instructions carefully. They are very strict about parking and we talked with several people who had gotten their cars towed.

Great property and well managed

Property was great, centrally located near the strip, recently updated and very clean. It's a first floor property with ocean view and pool and beach (gulf) access steps from the back door. While I wasn't previously familiar with the property manager, Vacasa, I will search out their properties for future visits. The responded to text and phone calls at 10pm and had a representative on site the next morning to replace a remote. Great experience

The property was very clean with updated, modern fixtures and amenities. A few minor things were missed such as inside-out fitted sheets and one question I asked regarding the coffee maker that was never answered, but other than that, it was a very nice property and I would stay there again.

Upgraded, clean, and right on the beach. Our door code didn’t work, but called and it was quickly resolved. They need a new TV remote. We struggled to get the buttons to work.

Very clean and short access to beach

The code didn’t work when we got there. They were quick to respond but I’m 8 months pregnant and had to use the restroom after a long trip. So it was an inconvenience. The condo was clean and the location was perfect. Easy access to the pool and the beach. Lastly, the condo had pots and pans but no beach towels, beach toys, or salt and pepper. You know small things that other condos have had. We’d stay again for the cleanliness and short beach access, just keep in mind to bring every single thing you need.

Great Place to spend with family!

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was fantastic. The first floor was great since it had direct access to the beach, hot tub, and pool. It was perfect for my 5 and 7 year old. Also, we cooked dinner several of days and they had everything we needed to cook dinner. Would definitely book again!

Fantastic vacation condo

This condo was perfect for our five days at the beach. We chose a first floor unit so we didn't have to mess with elevators during Covid. The location provided easy access to the parking lot, pool and hot tub, and the beach. To our surprise, we had a nice view of the ocean and sunrise as well. Check-in and check-out were super easy; everything is done by text and email. We were notified a day before letting us know if we could check-in early or check-out late. There was a prompt response to the few questions that we had via text. The unit has been remodeled with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. There were plenty of towels and starter supplies for the four of us. We brought our own shampoo and soaps but did end up purchasing more toilet paper (hey, three of the four of us were female). The kitchen had a good amount of pots, pans, plates, silverware and glasses. If you plan to cook, bring everything else - foil, spices, oils, etc. Would definitely stay here again.
