With 2 bedrooms in the main house, and 2 1/2 spacious and elegantly designed bathrooms, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, and open-concept living area flooded with natural light, every detail has been thoughtfully curated to provide a tranquil and inviting ambiance. Spend your afternoons in the pool, playing at the bocce court, or exploring the private vineyard. Hosted by a team of locals, we're here to offer suggestions on experiences and places to visit that will help to create lifelong memories.

This main Yellow Farmhouse has a secondary studio. The pricing for this studio is built into the pricing of all reservations with 5 or 6 guests.

If you have fewer than 5 guests but would like to add use of the Studio, you must contact Sonoma Valley Escapes Management in advance to reserve it. There is a small additional nightly fee and cleaning fee associated with this studio.

Perfect gem in downtown Sonoma!

We stayed at the Yellow farmhouse and absolutely loved it! Perfect location steps away from the downtown square in Sonoma! Gorgeous property with outdoor kitchen, fire pit, beautiful gardens and vines and a shared pool. Property manager sent multiple communications so check in and out was a breeze- would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect Sonoma Stay!

We had the most incredible stay at the yellow house and studio! We are already planning to return and book the red house too. The property was not only well appointed, but in the perfect location. We are so grateful we found this gem!

Hidden Paradise

This enchanting property is conveniently located just two blocks from the Sonoma Plaza. Once you check in, you’ll never want to leave! The “yellow farmhouse” is a beautiful home and was a perfect spot to reconnect with old friends for a long weekend. The vast, majestic gardens full of blooming flowers on this large lot are stunning. All of the bedrooms are en suite with comfortable beds, quality linens and large screen televisions (which we did not need as we spent the majority of our time enjoying the outdoor living areas, specifically the pool with plenty of large shade umbrellas and comfortable lounge chairs). There were so many things that made this stay special that it is difficult to choose a favorite, but I especially loved the outdoor living space/furniture with the gas fire table. It was the perfect setting to start each day with morning coffee and end it with a glass of wine. Our interactions with Phyllis, the property manager, can not go unnoticed. Phyllis was very friendly and helpful, making sure we knew where everything we might need was located, and also professionally and patiently answered our many questions about some of the local activities and restaurants. There were some Sonoma County guide books in a drawer in the kitchen that were also very useful with planning. Good communication with your host is an important factor in vacation home rental and Phyllis was ideal! This property was truly a magical vacation destination and I would highly recommend it.

A little piece of paradise!

The “yellow farmhouse” is a perfect choice for a group of friends or a family, for an extended weekend, or an even longer stay. The property has everything you could want, including high-quality bed linens and a fully stocked kitchen. Whatever your preferred vacation pastime, from sitting and relaxing by the fire pit, to playing bocce ball or swimming, you’ll find a space for it here! The pictures on the site do little to show how spacious, beautiful, clean, and well-maintained the entire property is - both inside and out. No matter your destination you won’t want to leave this property at the end of your stay!

You’ll never want to leave….

The Yellow Farmhouse is my new favorite place! The pictures do not do it justice. From the moment you pull up to this fantastic location blocks away from the Sonoma Plaza, you can tell that no detail was left undone. The house is nicely appointed with everything you need from the kitchen to the luxurious linens. You may have come to Sonoma to taste wine but you’ll not want to leave once you see the immaculately thought out and landscaped yard. Enjoy the views of the roses, magnolias, gardenias and grapes while sipping coffee by the firepit or enjoy a glass of wine while playing bocce. Or you could sip champagne while floating in the solar-heated pool! Whatever you choose, rest assured you will find yourself wanting to extend your stay.
