Location and Surrounding Area. Located in Torre delle Stelle, one of the most stunning venues in Southern Sardinia, this exclusive ten-bedroom property is ideally situated to offer complete privacy and tranquility to its guests, providing a unique retreat for those who want to explore this area’s beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters. Its 35 km of coastline feature a never-ending sequence of small coves, long white beaches running along the sea, granite rocks and the Mediterranean scrub with its rich perfumes.

In 1963, Edith Pelgrims de Bigard traveled to Sardinia and discovered a tiny fishing village called Is Tellas. She fell in love with the serenity of the lapping waves and the dramatic cliffs that plunged into a translucent sea. She bought the two bays and surrounding land. The area included an antique watchtower and at night the stars glittered the sky unlike anywhere else in the world so she renamed the town Torre Delle Stelle. She built the roads and put in the systems that helped shape the area.

In keeping with the celestial theme, the roads were named after constellations. In her favorite spot in the bay of Genn’e Mari, she decided to build her villa in the traditional Sardinian style.
