Enjoying a glorious coastal location, near the heart of Scarborough, this fabulous period property offers stunning accommodation over three floors. Coronation House has been completely renovated throughout in 2023, offering a group of family and friends of up to twelve people a beautifully finished, luxury dwelling to call home during their Yorkshire coast adventures. When it comes to relaxing during the evening, you have a large living room complete with wonderful plush sofas and seating to rest in while watching the large flat screen TV, with a wood burner within the fireplace. Step into the well- equipped kitchen and be impressed with the stylish and modern layout, with a separate spacious dining room offering a wonderful way to come together at mealtimes, with glass doors opening out onto the enclosed patio. Out here you have the fabulous hot tub under the gazebo, the perfect setting to unwind together in an evening.

Back inside on the ground floor you have the added convenience of a shower room, where you can rinse before or after dipping in the hot tub. Travel upstairs to the first floor and find a spectacular kingsize bedroom with a four-poster bed and en-suite shower. There is also a family bedroom which is accessed through the second kingsize bedroom. The family bedroom ha a bunk bed as well as twin beds; this spacious and inviting room also has a sofa with a TV and a selection of games so that the room doubles up as a games room for youngsters. There is also a family shower room on this floor.

Move past the landing space and up the stairs to the second floor where you have two kingsize bedrooms both with the luxury of freestanding baths. Settle under the crisp white bed linen and wake up to the sound of seagulls beckoning you down to the coast. You are only a short stroll away from an abundance of attractions, with the beach only a 12-minute walk away. Enjoy afternoons outside in the good weather and make use of the private patio, and relish time spent outdoors in this beautiful setting, with a relaxing dip in the bubbling hot tub to offer a perfect way to end another fabulous day with your loved ones. In the daytime, find adventure on the beach, perhaps joining the surf school. There is both the peaceful North Bay as well as the traditional seaside resort of the South Bay separated by the castle up on the cliff top. Also in Scarborough there is the Alpamare multimillion pound waterpark, with a sea view spa. The oriental gardens and boating lake at Peasholm Park, as well as the Sea life centre with rescued local seals. A little further afield you have Flamingo land theme park and zoo, Dalby Forest with tree top ziplining as well as the medieval city of York. Take day trips to the quaint coastal towns and villages, like Robin Hoods Bay, Filey, and Whitby each with heritage and history to tell, with local shops and eateries to enjoy. Settle into Coronation House with your loved ones and delight in a Yorkshire coastal break in luxury.

Lovely house in a good location

We had a family break here, with 3 kids, 2 dogs and and 7 adults. The house was big enough to accommodate us all comfortably, and is very nicely furnished and decorated. The back yard is small but a sun trap, with p of seating and a hot tub. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and around 10-15 minutes from the sea front. There are easy walking routes direct to the beach, or you can use the funicular to get down there. In the immediate area there's a great chip shop, Ramshill Fisheries, and a nice pub called The Cask. A great base from which to explore Scarborough.
