Convenient to the Tryon Equestrian Resort (2 miles). Nicely appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin with wrap around deck overlooking the Green River. Sleeps 6. Green River Highlands is a beautiful gated community of 430 acres and is located on the banks of the Green River. Dog pets are welcome. $75 ea or two for $125 / max 2. Two master suites - Queen bed upstairs, King bed downstairs. ROKU is the streaming TV provider. DVD player in living room. Wireless internet, hi-speed, unlimited. Average download speed is 22 Mbps and upload is 5 Mbps. Cathedral ceilings offer a spacious feeling downstairs with a deck off the front of the cabin overlooking the Green River. Gas-burning stove. Riverdance is situated on 5 wooded acres across from a landscaped park offering fishing, picnic tables, charcoal grills, playground and basketball. Come and enjoy the sounds, sights and 'dancing of the sun' on the Green River.

About 20 minutes west of Rutherfordton, NC in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains, you can visit the popular Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Asheville, Charlotte, Hendersonville and Spartanburg, SC are less than an hour away.

Golf courses, horsebackriding, canoeing and hiking are only a few of the recreational activities in the area. Lake Lure boating and swimming, Biltmore Estates, Chimney Rock and other nearby tourist attractions. Two hospitals, major food stores and all the specialty shopping you can stand are within a short drive.

Host was quick and helpful with communication. Cabin was perfect for our family during the Jump For The Children horse show. Location is a short easy drive to TIEC. My husband and son did a wading fly fishing day about an hour away and played golf at Cleghorn. The home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay at this cabin again for future shows.

The house outside did not look well taken care of. The flower pots on the stairs had dying flowers in them. I had to sweep the entire porch. But the house is close to TIEC which is why we like staying there. The inside of the house was certainly acceptable.

Great Location

This property is in a quiet location with walking trails on site. The bedroom and bathroom on different floors gave our friend group privacy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed.

Don't Scroll Past this One!!

All aspects of our stay at this cabin were amazing. You know how some hosts say they are pet friendly, but with a lot of extra rules. These folks truly are pet friendly. The property is across from a community space which was great for the dogs and even led down to the river for them to play. Behind the cabin is a great space for hiking safely with your dogs. The communication we had with the owners went far beyond just the normal checking in and checking out info. We were in town to look at property and prepare for an upcoming move and they went above and beyond to share their knowledge of the surrounding areas. Nice things about the cabin itself: no issues with cell or wifi, so come and work if you need to, dishwasher, and washer dryer made for a comfortable stay, the views of the river were magical. lovely wrap around porch/deck with a gate to keep the pups safe. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO and I would HIGHLY recommend this one!

Nice, Quaint Getaway

Riverdance was a nice place to stay while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Comfortable and exceptionally well appointed, the cabin provided a respite from family crowds. We especially enjoyed using the fire pit and walking along the river.

Tryon Equestrian Labor Day - Family Trip

We really enjoyed our visit to your cabin ! Great retreat after long days at the Horse Show each day. Very cozy and comfortable. Well equipped for cooking with plenty of room for the family. We would rebook next time we are in Tryon. Thank you for a nice weekend !!

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed at Riverdance over the Labor Day weekend to attend a music festival at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. The location of the cabin was perfect. We got from the cabin to the parking area for the festival in 5-10 minutes. The description of the cabin is accurate. It is very well stocked with anything you might need for a stay. I am short, and I appreciated the two step stools available in the kitchen closet. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch. We were mostly at the music festival so we didn’t take full advantage of the cabin’s TV and books. The check-in instructions were easy to follow. I appreciated the ease of the whole process. The front steps are steep, so I would not recommend this cabin for anyone with balance or mobility problems, but access was no problem for us. Parking was easy, and it was great that the cabin is so near the entrance to the subdivision. We would definitely stay at the cabin again if we were in the area.

Quiet and relaxing getaway. Beautiful location.

Beautiful cabin, well maintained and everything you need is supplied. I am so happy to have found this property. It was the perfect place for my husband and I and the pups to get away. Loved the wrap around porch and spent much of our down time enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. Will definitely be back!

Close to TIEC

This property was perfect for our weekend stay for a horse show. Took about 7 minutes to get to TIEC. The home was fully stocked, which made for easy grocery shopping. Would stay here again.

Perfect weekend

We were visiting for my son's competition at Tryon and this cabin was perfect. 4 adults and 2 kids with plenty of sleeping options. The community was very nice to walk and all the outdoor areas kept everyone entertained. Highly recommend and we will return!

Dream Cabin

My husband and I loved Dick’s cabin. It want for nothing. There was even a welcome goody box and Dick came to welcome us, made sure gas stove burned perfectly and brought wood for the fire pit. He was truly a perfect host. Thank you Dick. We’ll bring our extended family next time Judy & Jerry
