Up to five guests and one dog companion (for a small nightly fee) can unplug and recharge with days of wandering along the seashore and relaxing in the sea breeze.

One block from the expansive tranquil beach and just a short walk to dining and shopping options, this home is right in town and surrounds you with both relaxation and convenience at your fingertips. If you're up for a drive, head up to Lake Lytle for some kayaking or about 15 miles south to Tillamook for more shopping and a tour of the iconic cheese factory. You'll have a shared common area waiting for you back at the complex.

Spend your days throwing the Frisbee for Fido on the beach and then pick out the perfect spot for a seaside bonfire. Kick off the sand and head home to make a delicious dish in the compact kitchen. Surf the cable channels on the TV or break out a good book before heading to bed for a restful night's sleep.

This house was disgustingly filthy. Replace the mattress! We ended up sleeping in the bunks. The couch looks like nobody has ever looked under the cushions. The toilet seat NEEDS to be replaced, literally under 20 for a new one. Mold growing on the outside of the shower. We complained about how dirty it was, the headboard area had so much dust and cobwebs the mattress pad had long black hair on it and dried grass and god knows what else the ceiling fan had so much black dirt hanging off of it we did not dare turn it on. They sent someone to clean they put a cleaner mattress pad on wipes the dust by the headboard area but did not bother to go the extra 2 feet behind the nightstand. They somewhat cleaned the ceiling fan most was still there. Not to mention the cleaning person was not very friendly and very snarky. Don’t get me started on the outside appearance that is minor in comparison to the inside. I can’t believe you would allow this as part of your networks of properties.

Keep Looking

This place is a dump and encourage you to keep looking else where. The carpet was stained and dirty and there was so much dust, even on shelves where towels were stored. First time using toilet paper the holder fell apart. The toilet runned constantly and the only way to flush it was by putting your hand in the water and pulling the chain. There was also no WiFi available, even though it was advertised as having WiFi. I was told to go outside and get closer to one of the units that had the router and grab the WiFi that way. It worked if I stood outside by the unit a few doors down, but once I got back to my unit the WiFi would drop so I couldn’t get work done. The property manager promised someone would come out to fix toilet, but that never happened. Also, if you’re planning on cooking, don’t! The pots are pans are old and should not be used, especially in this day and age with all the information out how harmful they can be. I couldn’t wait to leave this dump!

Cute little spot.

Ite was a very cute little spot and super cozy. Very well described in the listing. The only down fall was the lack of wifi services. We were in contact with the host they were awesome and offered to come out, it just seemed unnecessary. But, if they can update the units to have their own modems. Things would be a A. Hard to work remote and get away at the same time.Overall VERY cute and GREAT location. A

Holiday weekend

This location is perfect. Right on the city with easy access to the beach. Bedding was not clean, human or animal hair. Old dried up leaf in the pillow case. Coffee stains on the trim of the window in the main area. Smelled musty/moldy. Bed was uncomfortable

Run down and Dirty

We actually refused to stay in this property rental. It was so dirty, smelly, and damaged. Pet odors and stains on carpets, the couch, and even drapes. Screens were damaged, letting in pests. Dead flies on the dining table. Filth behind where the garbage can sits. Complained to the management and had to search for another place to stay that night at 7:00 PM after a 9 hour drive to Rockaway Beach.

Not as expected

The unit was quite run down, not clean, and had an over whelming pet odor. Furniture and carpets in bedrooms were very dirty, and a greasy film on stove and cabinets. There is no WiFi and cell reception is poor. Overall I was very disappointed.

Cute place needs some sprucing up.

We liked the little cottage well enough. It was a great situation for us as we traveled with our dog and it was a last-minute trip. The queen size mattress was not comfortable at all, and we did suggest it be replaced. It was basically clean but needs some attention to a few areas. It is very close to the beach and that was nice. We could hear some noise from our neighbors but it wasn't terrible.

Nice little getaway

It was just perfect for the price! It was extremely clean and very welcoming. It was nice to be so close to the beach with easy access which gave my daughter with Down syndrome the opportunity to visit the beach several times a day without any difficulty. We will be booking our next vacation there.and I loved the fact it was dog friendly with a small pet fee. It was comfortable, quiet and relaxing!

Couch sleeping

Fiancé had to sleep on couch and I had to sleep in living room on both twin “lumpy” mattresses. No one should be allowed to rent a place like this if you can’t provide a reasonable mattress for sleeping. Mold in bathroom, cat hair or something on window seal, hole bottom of door missing and it was advertised with full size refrigerator.

The main room, kitchen and bath were ok. No washcloths in the bath, baseboards and carpets need to be cleaned (brown dribbly stains in front of bed). The queen bed was awful! Springs felt through it, stained, and no mattress pad was in place. Ugly box spring not covered. Squeaky, saggy and uncomfortable. We left a day early.....

“Cleaned” beds were dirty filled sand and hair. Bathroom has mold. Pots and pans are unsafe to use.

Lack of attention, empathy and respect. Hard to find- did not have clear labels to know which apartment you were staying at. Lock box- lacked label to know which one to insert your code. Place was not cleaned, smelled like wet dog, had dog hairs all over the floor and couch, beds sheets were not washed from previous users, pots and pans were too old had too much ware, mold in the bathroom. When contacting Vacasa, politely spoke with 3 different employees explained the situation, the last rep transferred me to their supervisor to cancel and get a refund put me on hold for over an hour and our call was disconnected. Later I received a text asking me to rate the cleanliness of the place explained the situation and provided pics. Rep apologized told me to they would put a service ticket( nothing happened from that) The rep. Ended with if there’s anything else I can help you with pls let us know. That was the cherry on the cake for me.

Review on Rental VRBO Property ID 1155497

The rental was incredible small. The main bed was terrible not able to sleep on it, went and bought a foam pad to make it usable. The refrigerator was not working and instead a small college refrigerator was there but no note to the fact that the bigger one was not working and was not mentioned in the agreement, unless I missed it. The cable was not working had to get my daughter to come and hook it up Cords hanging down on the wall looked terrible tacky. To crammed in with the other units. Won't rent this again.

Disappointed

This is a back unit on a "shared" yard space. Yard hadn't seen maintainence, well, maybe ever. TV had 3 remotes but no instructions. Wi-fi, if it existed, had no indicated passwork - no instructions or "rules" for the unit. Plaster was chunked away at several spots. Interestingly, no spatula but 4 pizza cutters. Had a good time because I was with a great friend, but no help from the accommodations. Towels were plentiful and good.

I should have paid more attention to other reviews before booking, but I was getting a little desperate for a place for my son and I to stay on the Oregon coast. The beds were probably the worst I’ve ever slept on (including being a camp counselor), the carpeting in the bedrooms and throw rug in the kitchen area were disgusting with stains and didn’t appear clean, the couch was in terrible shape-we didn’t even sit on it. It had a fairly mildewy/musty smell to it, so we tried to keep the windows open. There were several things that could easily be fixed like the drapes that had been pinned up with straight pins instead of being hemmed so that I got stuck when I tried to close them, and there was pink mold on the shower curtain liner in the bathroom and dish drainer in the kitchen. I certainly would not take babies or small children here due to the carpeting. It was relatively clean-just not a place I could recommend for anyone to stay.

Perfect location

The overall experience at this location was okay. For being a beach location the cleanliness was what is expected. The place did have a dew/ mildew smell to it but we assumed its from water/rain. It has everything you need(home away from home) such as kitchen supplies , towels, and extra bed linens. The only major complaint we can think of is the queen sized bed. It was not soft or even considered soft. It was as if we were sleeping on the floor. The mattress was small in comparison to the box spring. It was also not placed right so we had to figure the right way to make sure it wasn’t gonna flip over. The location is minutes to the beach and all the stores (walking distance). Overall it was good and would go back to this location.

Not like the photos

When we arrived the place looked OK, but the bathroom had black mold in all the floor tile grout and around the bottom of the tub. During a rainstorm that night, streams of water was pouring in through the drywall ABOVE the window. Our belongings got wet and we contacted the manager. Also the master bedroom door was broken because the bed was too big for the room making it so the door would not shut. One of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on, and I’m not too picky usually. The unit manager never offered to find us a new place considering there was a bad water leak coming through the drywall from the rain. We had towels piled up on the window and the floor for our whole 3 nights which put a damper on what was our first trip out of our house in 14 months. Very disappointed as we never received a discount for staying in a wet cabin that had terrible mold in the bathroom and were not offered any other accommodation. Would not stay here again. This place needs so much work.

Cute little cabin! Perfect for a family of 3.

This place is super cute but small but hey that's alright when your only there to sleep and shower and eat homemade meal instead of eating out. But I also have to say that there were a few things that could be fixed to make our next stay or someone else's stay even better. 1. The shower head is turbo power jet that doesnt move so the floor gets soaked. Maybe get a different shower head of some plastic mats for outside the shower.... 2. The queen sized bed is hard. But that wouldnt have been such an issue if the bedroom door could close all the way. I mean parents like to be able to shut their door for alone time. So we had to swap my child rooms every other night. Maybe put the beds into different rooms of get a smaller frame for the queen sized bed so the bedroom door can be shut. 3. There isnt really any pots and pans other then 2 small really small soup pots and 1 medium frying pan. I mean other than these 3 small inconveniences this is the perfect place for a small family or a couple to get away to for a few nights. I look forward to my next visit at this location.
