On our first trip to Ouray, we decided to stay at this Guesthouse just outside of Ouray. It was a quiet respite from the busyness of town. The location was super convenient to just about everything. The Guesthouse itself was very private, even though the owners live in the house right next door. The owners were very responsive prior to our visit. The accommodations were very well appointed and comfortable. It was really nice having air conditioning (units in the kitchen and living room) since it had been very hot in Colorado. The kitchen was perfect for making quick breakfasts and lunches for the day, as well as an easy dinner. The property itself is magnificent, sweeping meadows and bordering on the Uncompahgre River. However, the numerous slash piles of wood, sticks and pine straw took a lot away from the property’s natural beauty. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit to the area versus staying in town where things seem to get quite busy.

Perfect location - Great Place!

The location of this vrbo is perfect for a southwestern Colorado visit. Its only a few minutes away from both Ouray and Ridgway and less than an hour from Telluride and Silverton. Clean, safe, comfortable rental with all the amenities including beach towels for the hot springs pool. This place was very quiet and peaceful. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

5 Star Ranch

We loved the location of the property. The space was quite beautiful. The location in the San Juan Mountains makes this property highly desirable for hikers and outdoors enthusiasts. We were hiking everyday and if you’re a person who needs to visit the glamorous life, Telluride is close by.

Ouray Memorial

The location of the cabin was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy Ouray and Ridgeway. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. It had all the luxury we needed for our short 3 night stay.

Mountain Paradise!

Loved our stay at Camp Happy Ranch! The viewout the back was absolutely stunning and we loved seeing the wildlife outside our window. Suzanne, Steven and Blue were so accommodating and gave us great suggestions as far what to do in beautiful Ouray…we will definitely be back!

Perfect!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during our ice climbing trip. It was the perfect location less than 10 minutes from Ouray but still secluded enough to feel like a getaway. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay — nice views, a fireplace, cooking appliances, comfy beds. We didn’t get a chance to go down to the river, which was a short walk from the property. Next time! We were also permitted to check in slightly early and check out an hour late, which we greatly appreciated! Highly recommend!

Relax and enjoy!

We stayed at this guest house and it was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in the past 10 years! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal and there are two king size beds. One is a little firmer than the other and each has a nice thick comforter. There’s a fireplace in the living room, along with a smart TV, and the furniture is comfortable. The shower has good water pressure and the towels are super soft! We really enjoyed our time here. Thanks so much Suzanne and Steven your hospitality!

What a beautiful place to stay, Suzanne and Steven were fantastic. Great instructions to get there and maps given to wonder the river. Only downfall is that we didnt feel it was super clear in the description that the guest house was attached to the owners private home. Not that it hindered our stay, just wasn't completely expected.

Wonderful place’

We stayed this past weekend and loved being here! The space was as listed, and so quiet and comfortable inside. Loved our visits to the river in the morning, and the great coffee provided to spur us on our day trips to Ouray and Telluride. The sleigh bed was super clean and comfortable also. We will definitely be back to the area and would stay here again without a doubt.

Great place

The house was so amazing and we loved how private and quiet the area was! Amenities were all easy to find and super helpful and the place was so clean! We LOVED the kitchen, so beautiful and well stocked. Everything was perfect and I would definitely book again!

Perfect getaway. Clean, convenient and cozy!

This unique property was perfect. It had everything we needed, was super comfortable and cozy. The quiet nature including birds and baby deer were a wonderful bonus.
