Charming Mezzanine Rooftop View

If you are looking for comfort and charm at an acceptable price, you can stop searching. You will find all that in this newly renewed mezzanine studio, plus a nice bonus, almost good enough to be qualified as such, a pleasant balcony with a view of the horizon that will delight you, perfect for a Port degustation at sunset.
It`s centrally located within walking distance to all tourist attractions in Porto downtown. 150 meters from the metro with direct connection to the airport.


The apartment, in the place of an old attic, has been renovated, equipped and decorated with the singular purpose of providing guests with a memorable stay. The space consists of a living room with a beautiful convertible sofa bed for two and a functional dining table, a fully equipped kitchen, a mezzanine (elevated level within the apartment) where the comfortable double bed is placed and finally a modern bathroom with shower. The apartment is completed with a nice balcony facing west. It is equipped with air conditioning, cable TV and wi-fi. Sheets and towels are provided.

Good location

The building is located about 15 minute walk from most places.Accurate description of the apartment, very clean.The mezzanine will not be ideal for anyone taller than 5’5”, a fan would be recommended during the summer months.A/C works great for the main area. Nice view from the balcony while enjoying your coffee or a glass of wine or beer.Having a washing machine at the apartment was very helpful, so thank you.

Vielversprechender Ausblick - tatsächlich anstrengend wegen des fehlenden Aufzugs. Einige elektrische Einrichtungen funktionierten nicht oder fehlerhaft. AC ging gar nicht. Tiefkühler? keine Chance auf Eiswürfel oder aufzubewahrende Tiefkühlkost! TV? Batterien fehlten.Außerdem kann man nicht duschen, ohne den Duschkopf selbst festzuhalten. Toilettensitz wackelig. Zu wenige Hand- und Trockentücher!

First time to Porto

Located close to grocery stores and easy to prepare meals in the kitchen. Porch small and we enjoyed early morning and all day sun. Definitely got our workouts in climbing the stairs.

Nice

Nice apartment in a good location. However, it is very hot sleeping in the loft. AC does not reach there. A fan would have helped a lot. Also, there is no parking on site. It’s street parking for which you need to pay every 2 hours. Long term parking were all fully booked. Not practical at all.

Zentrale Lage

Appartement in zentraler Lage, metro-nah, mit Balkon netter Einrichtung und gut nutzbarer Küche. Aber: Über 80 Treppenstufen ohne Fahrstuhl! Doppelbett befindet sich auf einer völlig offenen Empore mit offenem Treppenzugang (sehr gefährlich für Kinder, Absturzgefahr! ) und unter extrem niedrigen Dachbalken (Bett ist nur kriechend zu erreichen). Schlafsofa instabil, kippt um. Etwas abenteuerliches WC (Deckel bleibt nicht offen).

Great spot for young visitors

Our stay was great! The space was the perfect size for two young adults staying for a couple days in Porto. Maria and Pedro had great communication and set up a car to drive us from the train station. The apartment is a 10-15 min walk up/down moderate hills from the main town center. There are LOTS of stairs! The room is on the 4th floor so be prepared to climb with your luggage. Overall great experience

As described. However, stairs and the mezzanine bedroom is not for the faint hearted! You do need to take on a resemblance to the Hunch back of Notredam if sleeping on the far side! Two wine glasses only - both cracked, not replaced in spite of requesting others.

Porto trip

Easy to find with excellent communication from host - we were delayed and he was there to greet us. The apartment is on top floor and we counted approx 84 stairs (4 floors). There is a kingsized bed in the loft area and a sofa bed (but not the one pictured) in lounge area. Beds would benefit from mattress protectors. The loft area has sloped and low ceilings - fine for us as we are both 5'. Could do with a mirror upstairs. The kitchen is adequate for a few days. Shower works well although lighting not great. Towels provided. Its a short walk to Porto centre and only 5 mins from Metro. We enjoyed our stay in Porto.

Great view, nice apartment

A nicely renovated apartment within walking distance to the center and a good connection to public transport. All you need for a week's stay plus a beautiful view. Be prepared for 90 stairs without an elevator. Communication with the manager wasn't always quick but the overall experience was positive, we would be glad to come again.

À découvrir

L’annonce parle d’un 4e étage sans ascenseur, ils ont raisons, mais il faut savoir qu’il y a plus de 80 marches au total. La mezzanine, pas vraiement conçu pour mon gabarit, je mesure 1,80 mètres. Le quartier à découvrir, prendre le temps le soir à partir de 20:00 hrs, plein de restaurant typique, du personnel accueillant et nous avons très bien manger.

Charming mezzanine

Très bel appartement et joliment décoré. Belle vue sur les toits. L’annonce ne mentionne pas qu’il est situé au 4 eme étage sans ascenseur. 90 marches..Nous n’avons pas pu joindre malgré de nombreux appels le gérant pour le taxi le dernier jour un dimanche . Cependant je vous le recommande. Porto est super

This was a nice little apartment for our stay. Maria was very nice to deal with. The view from the balcony was great. it was very loud at night and early morning with birds on the roof, so if you are a light sleeper you will need earplugs.

Lovely little spot

Stayed for 3 nights, located about 15-20min walk from all the main areas! Birds on the roof can be loud, but otherwise was a great little spot. Lots of stairs to get to the 4th floor, so be prepared for that.

False representation of the propety

Poor. Propetry managers had us waiting outside unit for 45 minutes after agreed upon time. Quality furniture use to enhance the image of the property had been removed. Cloths washer did not work and was removed for repair. It was never removed. We were locked out three times because of faulty lock on entry door. We could only opened fridge door partially because of available space in kitchen. Kitchen had very limited utencils and poor quality

Tolle Wohnung mit super Aussicht

Alles war sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet Im Bad fehlte es vielleicht an Ablagemöglichkeiten und Haken für Handtücher. In der Küche gibt es ausreichend Kochgeschirr, Teller und. Besteck sowie eine Waschmaschine. Das Bett steht unter der Dachschräge und große Menschen sollten das bedenken. Bei uns war das kein Problem. Wir fanden es toll. Der Balkon ist das Highlight. Diese Aussicht ist ein Traum. Ganz Porto liegt einem zu Füßen, wenn man bereit ist täglich die 4 Etagen zu Fuß zu gehen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden 😄
