A design-forward mountain getaway at the summit gateway to Park City. Located just a 20 minute drive to Main Street and 25 minutes to the SLC international airport, this mother in law apartment is in a forested neighborhood and just minutes (or a bike ride) to mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and backcountry skiing trails and right up the road from Woodward action sports hub and from the Jeremy Ranch golf course. Park City's free transit system High Valley will get you to the bus system and the house is located 2 minutes from a freeway exit.

Bright, open, and full of natural light, this house enjoys a peaceful and wooded location close to adventure in winter, spring, summer, and fall with design details like custom furniture pieces, lime washed walls and a tadelakt bathroom. Moose and deer can often be seen within yards of the view from your Adirondack on the stone patio.

About ten miles north of downtown Park City, mere minutes from all sorts of adventure sports at Woodward Park and access to some of the best ski slopes in the world at Canyons Village (6 miles), Park City Mountain (10 miles), and Deer Valley Resort (11 miles), Kimball Junction with Whole Foods, Smith’s Grocery, Walmart and an array of shops, restaurants, & bars, (3.9 miles)
all of which are within an easy drive. Two minutes to the Parleys Summit exit on I-80, access to SLC and the Cottonwood Canyon resorts makes this an excellent central location for adventures in the Wasatch despite feeling that you're tucked away in a mountain retreat.

A well-equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill has everything needed to whip up tasty meals and a TV with streaming services for relaxing after a day of adventure. A desk area is provided for remote work. Wildlife including deer and moose can regularly be seen from the attached porch.

Things to know:

- This neighborhood receives more snow than most. The roads stay fairly well plowed and most snow removal is included, but care should be taken when visiting in the winter to plan accordingly for travel and there may need to be a bit of communication with your host for departure and arrival moments due to the snow plowing schedule. Please feel free to reach out for more information.
- Your hosts live above the rental. While we make efforts to stay quieter when we have guests, please note that this is attached/ below another house.
-The outside entry to this unit is separate but currently undergoing an update. However, there is no construction when we have guests at the house.
- Guest entry instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires a unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
- You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

Quiet mountain retreat

This was the perfect place for us. Easy and convenient access to both Salt Lake City and Park City. Artful finishes and details on the interior space. Really, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a great space. The host was welcoming and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend staying here.
