Just steps away from the beautiful sands of PCB! Breathtaking views from this 9th floor condo at the Summit!

This condominium is located on the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in Panama City Beach, Florida. It is at The Summit on Thomas Drive. You will find yourself within walking distance of restaurants, amusement parks, golf courses, and more. Grills are provided on site if you enjoy cooking out. There is also a TIKI bar in the pool area which is close to the beach so you can get a cool drink any time without leaving the property. A bar and grill called Bikini Bobs is onsite for food

The Summit has two large pools for guests as well as both indoor and outdoor hot tubs! An exercise room is located on the ground floor near the lobby for guests as well!

The master bedroom in this beautiful unit has a king size size bed and a flat screen tv. It has access to the 1.5 bathroom with a shower/tub combo, 2 sinks and 2 toilets!

The hallway has a twin size bunkbed.

The oceanfront living room has a QUEEN size sleeper sofa, a flat screen tv and access to the oceanfront balcony.

The kitchen comes fully stocked with everything needed to cook a great meal!

Private balcony is the perfect height for breathtaking views of the Gulf!

The room size met the needs of myself and my friend. My only critique would be if you intend to use the grill in the courtyard bring your own metal spatula. The room only had a plastic spatula for use in the room.

Good over all

Enjoyed being on the beach and the view from our balcony was beautiful. The unit is small and may be a little dated, but it was just right for celebrating our 33rd anniversary. BTW, water pressure was great.

Very nice condo. Right on the beach. The pictures online match reality. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff at The Summit. Secure property for peace of mind.

Never have to leave

The Summit was a very nice resort. They were doing some painting and maintenance while we were there, so that showed that they take care of the grounds. I say you never have to leave because between the store/cafe, tiki bar and Bikini Bob's you have everything you need. Bikini Bob's was a restaurant that had good food that was very reasonability priced, large portions and quick. I had a cheeseburger, fried pickles and nachos...very good! Not to mention the $2 bags of ice. We were in room 910. It was a nice setup and view. The room could've used a deep clean. The living room did have a strong odor that I would say smelled like cat urine. I noticed there were 2 Febreze plug-ins but both were empty. I purchased 2 more in hopes of masking the smell for our 5 night stay, it did help some. The curtain rod over the sliding glass doors was coming out of the wall, the lamp in the bedroom was busted and the leg on the coffee table was broken. Which all were things that didn't have an impact on our stay so I took pics when we arrived and notified the property manager at Emerald Coast Destinations when we left, which they were very responsive and said they will get the info sent to the maintenance team. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the Summit and will definitely stay again!

Nice !

The condo was nice. You could tell renovations had been done. The only downside was storage issues. We were suppose to have 5 people but other two grands could not come. If they had I don’t think we would have had enough room. I’ve stayed at the Summit multiple times and this condo has a very small kitchen. If we had bought a ton of groceries there would have been no where to put them away Plenty of dishes, pots etc. I don’t know if it’s an ordinance but the smoke detector right by the kitchen kept going off while cooking even with the vent fan on. The bathrooms have pedestal sinks beautiful but there was no room to put toiletries, hair dryers, make up etc. Great communication for checking in. Overall it’ was a great stay and I would stay again but not with a family of 5.

We stayed 1 week only was given 2 rolls of toilet paper 1 roll of paper towels 1 trash bag no salt or pepper the ice maker didn’t work there was mold on ceiling above the shower. I had to go buy allergy medication and take everyday that we were there because of the mold. I’ve stayed in lots of condos in my life and this was the worst by far!!! I’ve never had to go and buy toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, ice and salt and pepper while on vacation until this trip.

Overall not too bad

Condo was pretty nice, bathroom was pretty small, but otherwise beautiful views of the ocean. Elevators were a pain in the butt, but that's everywhere when people are checking in and out. Facilities were very clean and a very easy check in. There was a $27.00 charge for parking and wristbands which I don't think was terrible. It was a last minute reservation and everything went very smoothly.

Perfect view with all the necessary amenities

I was a little weary booking this property being there were no reviews yet. However the pics looked nice and the view with a nice sized balcony sold me. My husband and I stayed for a week and it was perfect! Had all the cooking supplies needed, cold refrigerator, comfy bed, the AC worked great (the extra blankets are located in the bottom bedroom dresser drawer), very spacious other then the main bedroom. The room was decent size but the bed frame kept getting my husband and I’s knees on the window side. It needs a bumper! But that is a minor issue overall-more of a warning for future guests. The place is a little dated in some ways (small tv’s-one in dining room and one in bedroom) but clean and affordable. The two toilets with a sliding door divider creating a 1.5 bath was nice and 2 separate sinks. The shower water pressure was AMAZING! We used the washer and dryer and all worked well. They supplied plenty of dishwasher soap and laundry soap (although we brought our own). I would definitely stay here again! So thank you for a nice and relaxing time! Regarding the property itself, they have a few pools and a hot tub. Did karaoke and a dj some nights, have a tiki bar with decent food as well. Gated access to the beach. Great location to everything! Id recommend using the end elevators vs the main one in the middle-a lot faster.

Quick beach trip before school starts

The unit itself was nice. Everything you could think of needing was provided. Loved the bunk beds! Beach chairs were provided in the closet which was great to have! The Summit is further down the strip than where we had previously stayed before, but the beaches were GREAT! Upon entry of the unit, there was a smell of weed and another order. I couldn’t figure out the other odor. It stayed the entire time even though I used bleach and Lysol to try to cover the smell. It smelled like cat urine. We also saw a roach in the kitchen when we arrived. The bug man came to spray later in the week while we were at the property. We got locked out of the unit one day. The locking system they have on the door wouldn’t work. I called the number provided 3 different times over 4 hours before someone came to fix it. They don’t have anyone on the property to come fix it was what I was told. All of our stuff was inside during this time. Keys, purse, everything. The elevators in this facility are slower than Christmas and one of the 4 was usually broken. It took us over an hour to get an elevator to check out.
