    The apartment, on the third floor of a building with an elevator, opens onto the large living area, furnished with a sofa, a TV, a dining table and an open kitchen equipped with everything needed to prepare delicious meals. The sleeping area includes two bedrooms with queen-size beds and balconies overlooking Via Maqueda. Two bathrooms with shower complete the layout.



    The highlight of the apartment is the large interior terrace accessible from the living area furnished with table, chairs and relaxation area.



    At guests' disposal amenities such as wi-fi connection, washing machine,iron, air conditioning and heating with heat pump.



    *The building next to the accommodation is currently subject to renovation and painting. Due to these renovation works, there could be some noise during the day.

The property's location is very convenient to everything. As far as the description of the property I would say it was okay. The kitchen is not well equipped and just felt not very clean. Not items I would want to use if I were to cook there. No paper towels..only a sponge and one microcloth. The shade in one bedroom did not open at all. The patio is not as described. The blue shelf is broken with the top shelf just hanging on. There was a garden hose stored on the top of the thatched roof. The patio furniture was very dirty. The chairs have chair pads that were very dirty was bird dirt and other dirt. In order to use them I had to clean the table and chairs/pads. If I return to Palermo I am doubtful I would rent this property again.

Overall, the property was in a good location and had ample space. The only problem we encounter is that they didn’t warn us about the electricity going out for example, if you use the washer, you should not have an air conditioner, running or unplugged appliances, which was really only the refrigerator. when I tried reaching out to the host, I did not get a response until the next day. the following day we lost power completely throughout the apartment with no lights, no water at 9:30 at night and was not able to get in contact with the host until the following morning and after 9 am when someone gave us instruction by email of what we needed to do in order to get the power back which could’ve been easily solved if they would’ve responded as soon as we reached out. This was an important issue to have been taken care of immediately as my son is a diabetic, and his insulin is kept in the refrigerator.I recommended to them to list about the possible issue of losing power and if you do lose power, how to correct it.Also complained about the shower being clogged and also about the key to the front door of the building, not working, that was never resolved.In conclusion, not happy with the lack of response immediately after you reach out, you have to wait till the following morning to get any type of response, or lack of attention to shower and front door lock.

The unit is owned or managed by a company not an individual. We had a lot of difficulty getting information in advance of our stay. My requests were met with generic responses as if they didn’t know or care where I was staying. The first morning after our check in we discovered we had no hot water. We proceeded with cold showers since we had an all day tour planned. We contacted them immediately but they did not reply for 3 hours. They said “just flip switch on the boiler and that should fixIt. Sometimes the boiler goes out”. I explained we were out and would not return until late that evening. I asked them to send someone to “just flip the switch”. They refused. I asked for reassurance that if their solution did not work, they would come that evening to fix it. They did not respond. I also said they should have informed us in advance that the boiler might be a problem since they were aware of it. Their solution did work but we were all very anxious all day. When I reported back that were set and reiterated that they should have warned us, they said “you should have told us sooner”. Again they were rude and dismissive. We reported the problem as soon as we knew.
