Getting Around:
Very close to interstate. A quick 3 min drive down 10th street will get you to Zoo and 5mins north you will be in downtown Old Market area.
There is room in driveway to park 2 cars off street. Arbor Street (front of house) allows parking on both sides of street.

Omaha Visit

House was clean and comfortable. Would be a great place for very tall people. This 5'2" person had to stretch to reach upper cabinets and microwave in kitchen. Window coverings in main living areas were very sheer and provided no privacy. Did not appreciate camera in living area.

Nice Bungalow

Listing was as advertised! AC worked well especially upstairs. Living room was very comfortable. Kitchen had all the amenities that you need. Outdoor sitting area needs a little TLC- rug and chairs need updating.

Exceeded Expectations

The house completely exceeded our expectations. It is a remodeled home, but the attention to details made it feel modern and comfortable.We hosted area family members for dinner and they could not stop complimenting the house. It made for an excellent stay.If there were a way to rate it higher than excellent, we would. Thank you, to the hosts, they were responsive and very helpful with everything we needed.

Excellent home away from home

We come to Omaha often from Milwaukee for visits to the children’s hospital here. We have stayed many different places but this has been the best one yet. Highly recommend anyone traveling to or thorough Omaha to check this place out. Great for families.

Lovely Old Charmer - Full of Whimsy, and Tons of Room!

The house is very old and quaint, and there are many whimsical touches to add to the charm. There is plenty of square footage to host a large family or friend gathering, a basement with a washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchen, and a large flat-screened television in the living room. The screened porch is lovely and the fenced, side yard is perfect for a dog. The hosts were very communicative and accommodating. Our only suggestions would be to update the bedding (and pillows) and have the house deep cleaned to eliminate the strong cigarette odor.

Gracious owner and comfortable stay

The house was beautiful and clean with every detail thought out. The beds were comfortable. The owner was incredibly gracious and made the check-in and check-out process smooth. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

We loved, loved, loved this property. So comfortable and beautiful and conveniently located. Everything we could possibly need for our stay was right there - especially in the kitchen. The living room was such a nice place to sit and relax and visit...I would 100% stay here again.

Amazing!

Amazing does not cover our thoughts about this lovely home. It met all of our needs: close to family, enough space so that we could work remotely, and the amenities! On site laundry, screened porch, and lighted patio. We will definitely return!

Location, location

Bungalow is tastefully updated and one of the cleanest vrbos we have stayed at. The location was perfect for our visit, between the Zoo (baby elephants) and the Old Market (great dining) with short drives to each. Well equiped kitchen and comfortable foam mattresses. The steps from the driveway to the door were a bit much for our 79 year old knees but not a deal breaker. Nice stay!!

Nice Craftsman home but a few issues

No smoking on property but the house smells like cigarettes, not heavy, but apparent. The listing states 2 bathrooms but it's actually 1 & 1/2. There are no curtains on some windows in the livingroom. The coffee pot had water in it and when I dumped it out it there was some sludge and coffee grounds....I cleaned it out myself. There are spiderwebs throughout the property that needs a good sweeping. Make sure you read the house rules in the kitchen, there are a lot of fees and some are pretty stiff. With all that, we still enjoyed our stay. I love old craftsman style homes.
