Welcome to House of Ty, recently featured on Season Four of HGTV's Battle on the Beach as Team Ty Pennington's house! Previous guests of the property will do a double take when they walk into this gorgeous home after renovations completed in early 2024. Upon entering the home, guests' eyes will go upward to the beautiful wooden beams lining the vaulted ceiling before meandering to take in the other rustic, wooden accents throughout.

With marble countertops, stainless steel appliances and enough kitchen supplies to provide for your entire family, this stunning kitchen will make you want to stay in and cook every meal - seating is available for eight guests to dine.

The living space provides enough seating for the entire family and overlooks the sand and sun. Sit back and relax as you watch your favorite show on the flat-screen television. Walk out the ocean side door to experience the salty breeze off the Atlantic Ocean from under the covered porch. After a day on the beach, rinse off the sand with ease in the enclosed outdoor shower.

There are three bedrooms, two of which have a sliding glass door leading to the oceanfront porch. The bunk room sleeps two comfortably. Please note the dimensions of the top bunk are small and are built for your tiny little adventurer!

The game room is perfect for an evening of family fun. When the kids go to bed it can turn into a bar and lounge for leisurely card games. Painted a forest green, the atmosphere is very alluring to creatives alike! With four comfortable chairs, this round table seats four.

Convenient to local restaurants, shops, parks and attractions. Whether your idea of a vacation is taking long naps in the island breeze, exploring local landmarks or teeing up for 18 holes at one of the area's playable but challenging golf courses, you will find your island home at House of Ty!

Great vacation home

Overall, our experience was very good! Pros: we arrived to a spotlessly clean home, location was right on the beach as described, back deck was great for sipping coffee and chatting and listening to the waves, home was spacious, with plenty of storage for our belongings, kitchen was well furnished with all we needed. Cons: driveway is just sand, so it's not possible to keep the sand out of your vehicles, one of our vehicles rides very low, so we had to be cautious when pulling in, no way to rinse the salt spray off your vehicles at the home, bed frames and mattresses could stand to be upgraded (seemed to be old), no tubs in the bathrooms, just a shower with a corner seat - but there's not much room for a tub Overall, we give this home a 4 out of 5, and would stay here again and again. We recommended it to a lot of our friends already!

Disappointing

For us it was a lot of money to spend - and I just expected more. Overall the house just seemed outdated and dusty. There was floating dust on the rope accents around pictures and on the wall. Had a Motel 6 feeling - and felt like I was paying for the Ramada Inn at least. We won't stay here again.
