There could be more directions on what other businesses are near the actual entrance. It was hard to see with all of the parade happenings out on the street, but there was a nice local that assisted us. What I took the most issue with was the presentation of the property considering how much we paid. The kitchen trash can was broken with sharp pieces sticking out. There was a long sharp piece sticking out of the sofa bed. I was afraid to use it because it appeared to be broken. The sofa was stained in several places. The pictures on all of the walls were crooked. All of the bathroom light fixtures were rusted as well as the air conditioner vent (probably due to moisture). There was NO hot water to shower. The walls need touch up paint and the sheets need to be replaced. One sheet was ripped and the other had makeup stains. I’m happy to provide photos if you would like to see what I’m referring to. Overall this was not the quality I was expecting and I was uncomfortable staying here. It seems nice and clean at first glance but it was absolutely not.

What can I say about this spot?! My second time staying here and we LOVE IT!!! We arrived Cmas Eve pulled right up to on street parking in front of our property. Left the car for 4 days with no issues. Sandwiches between 2 great spots we had no problem finding cocktails and food. An easy walk to Bourbon, on the trolley line and great coffee shops. The space itself so much room great lighting but the best part is the huge outdoor space that you can access from both bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need for a home away from home. The only place I want to stay in NEW ORLEANS

This space was absolutely stunning! The terrace was massive and so lovely. It was a great location right outside of the hustle and bustle, easy to walk to the local attractions or get a cheap Uber.

The location was great, two spots across the street for a quick bite, cafe style. Small store next door to pick up snacks. No No TV in bedroom which would have been good to lounge in bed

Apartamento bem grande e espaçoso. No entanto tivemos alguns problemas: tinha cheiro de mofo, a torneira da suíte não funcionava, e nos chuveiros a água ficava quase fria. Tentamos entrar em contato mas ninguém respondeu.

Beautiful property in downtown New Orleans. 4 min walk from french quarter. The balcony was great, we used it every night. Very spacious apartment for my mom me and my boyfriend. It was our first time to New Orleans and this property made it such a pleasant experience. Small grocery store right below us and also cafes right across the street. Sonder was quick to respond with any questions. Access to the property was quick and easy. We used the parking garage right across the street on Gravier st. Highly recommend this property and will use sonder for next stay. Thank you for such a great experience.

Great property bad elevator and washing machine.

The property itself was very nice. I would have said excellent with slightly better maintenance. The biggest issue was an elevator that only worked one of the four days we were there. This was a major issue as we were on the fourth floor and had to carry luggage up and down the emergency stairs. Not fun. Another issues was the clothes washing machine was non functional. While not all hotels and bnbs have them it was an amenity that we paid for but was not available to use. The last issue was while the property is listed as non smoking the main entrance lobby reeked of marijuana so bad that we told our kids to hold their breath every time we exited or entered the property. Will probably not stay at another Sonder property due to these issues.

The pros and the cons.

The location can't be beat, that's for sure. Within walking distance of Bourbon Street, shopping, restaurants, and historical locations. The balcony was wonderful to sit and people watch however it would be nice if there were outdoor chairs and a small table. The breakfast place across the street was helpful and the trolley stop right in front of the unit made getting around the city easy. The place itself was nicely appointed however the beds were very hard, and the sheets and towels were sharp and stiff. Overall it is a need of repainting. There were simple items missing that we would have expected to be there such as hand soap in the bathroom, napkins or paper towels, and a dish towel in the kitchen. It is very loud so you'll have to be comfortable with the trolley going back and forth in front of the unit along with horns and street noise well into the night. The store beneath the unit, while extremely accommodating and has everything from suitcases to wine, does play music that can be heard in the bedrooms. The walls are very thin and the hallway is noisy so it is definitely not an exceptionally quiet location. Overall, the value was good.

The location was perfect. The pictures were exactly like the rooms. Very clean and convenient to attend counting crows concert Friday night and hang out in French quarter over weekend. We had a HOOT !!!!

The apartment that care forgot

The apartment looked rough. There were marks and stains all over the walls - including the ceilings. The windows were so dirty that it looked like it was overcast on a sunny day. 2 of the 3 lights above the island / sink area were out. Bedroom and bathroom doors did not close. In general, this looked like it had been a party house for years - not the beautiful apartment pictured in the listing.

Everything was broken / Great Location

Apartment was in rough shape. So many fixtures were either broken or in misuse that it would be hard to name them all. Beds were uncomfortable - one was folding in on itself even with only a petite woman sleeping in it. Sheets were hard. No full length mirror. Alarm going off in the “lobby” daily and the entry was difficult. It is unfortunate that this place is uncared for because it’s a beautiful building in a great part of town.

Rooms are super clean and everything was tastefully decorated.. We had a private terrace and loved it! Property is closed proximity to all our interests that we just walked.. Highly recommend and will definitely book again the next time we visit!

Good place to stay in new orleans, walkable to food, bourbon st. And superdome. Sonder was roomy had plenty of space, nice amenities. Sonder chat was helpful and responded very fast when issues arise. A few issues we encountered; -building door not opening with code (quick to help on app but sucks at night from the walk) -pull out bed had stain, shower drain issues ( sonder came and fixed within the hours) Good location and place to stay even with the small issues.

This place was trash from the time o walked in and tried to open the door to the balcony I paid for that was broken to the tv not working to the air not working to being told to turn down my music at 1:45pm to hear loud music with not problem at 11:00pm at night we went in to dirty bed spread no extra covers even though we ordered a place that sleeps 6 after we found out the A/C was broken I was given a room that had broken toilets and broken showers they did nothing to help the whole stay was a disaster I would have been better off getting a room at a hospital but needless to say I and the people in my party are black we also had a booking under a white mans ID and he and his black lady had not issues but again my husbands ID has a black picture on it they had none of the issues we had I will be raising any and all complaints I can and I will never stay in another Sonder property again because I believe it will be the same if it’s ran the same this place was trash and it totally ruined my 40th birthday

Great communication

I enjoyed the instant 24 hours communications. There was a moment that my passcode did not work. It was frustrating but using the chat function on the app and talking to an actual agent helped me get this resolved. I was not too pleased with the 4 pm check-in but was able to get my party checked in 30 mins early. The place was very clean. I liked the easy check-out with less tasks for me to do before I left. The location was 2 blocks from Canal street and was close to a lot of eateries and bars! There was some stains and a large area in the bathroom that had paint peeled. I believe it came from moisture. Also was very surprised how comfortable the sofa bed was!

The place is difficult to find. Just a green door with the street number on it and a keypad next to it. The bathroom floor was dirty, the heat lamp/fan was dirty, one of the lights at the vanity sink was out. the bathtub did not hold water, and I don't think two towels are enough (there is no daily room service). The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen and laundry are nice touches, but not necessary for short stays. This was my first stay at a Sonder, I thought I would like it since I am a very independent person. But I found it odd to have absolutely no employees visible on the property. Given the pricing of the rooms, I will likely stay elsewhere.
