Royal Garden Resort 605 - Oceanfront in Garden City Beach

The Royal Garden Resort HOA is currently in the process of repairing and waterproofing the exterior of the building on the ocean side. This process will begin on September 2, 2025 and continue throughout the remainder of the year. This process involves construction activities on the facades and balconies of the condominiums and may temporarily limit the use of the building's amenities and possible loss of access to the balcony. It also involves the use of loud machinery during working hours, Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5PM. The work will begin on the 15 “stack” (units ending in the number 15) and will proceed to lower numbers as each stack is completed; however, we don't know how long each stack will take or when the work will be performed on any other stacks. Please contact us if you have any questions, and we'll do our best to answer them for you.

Royal Garden Resort is located 0.7 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Horry County. This 16-story oceanfront complex offers convenient amenities including three elevators, coin-operated laundry onsite, complimentary Wi-Fi, outdoor grills, and a parking garage. Relax in one of the lounging chairs on the expansive sundeck or go for a swim in one of the resort pools, which are open year-round. Royal Garden Resort features indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and even kiddie pools! An onsite beach bar and grill offers food and drinks. If you want to feel the sand beneath your toes, you are only steps away from the beach. Pack your bags and come on down and stay where there's something for the whole family to enjoy! Two parking permits are issued per unit. Garage clearance is 6ft, 8in. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, trailers, recreational vehicles, golf carts, and pets are not permitted. LIMITED PARKING FOR OVERSIZED VEHICLES.

Great stay

The only thing regarding cleanliness, was that it was not swept well when we arrive. We did have the option to contact them to come and clean, but we opted that option because it was late. I wanted to start on our trip. But they did have a broom dustpan and we got it cleaned.

Great location. Clean but needs more storage

Listed as 2 bedroom but the second “bedroom@ was actually a very small room with what seemed to be 2 roll away beds and absolutely no storage at all for clothes or luggage. One locked closet. So everyone in the group must use one closet and dressers in main bedroom.

We enjoyed the location! Second time staying at the Royal Garden Resort! Condo could have been a little cleaner-coffee pot was very dirty-vents needed cleaning-deck full of bird droppings! The beds were very comfortable! Lots of good restaurants! Will definitely be back in the area!

GREAT STAY

We had a great time during our vacation. One of the elevators was off line which made for longer waiting times for each elevator. Also the parking garage has a low clearance. So if you have a luggage rack on the roof of your vehicle you will need to plan accordingly. We had to take ours off and store it in the room during the week. The Pools are clean and are checked on a regular basis. Ocean access is easy to locate and has great access to the bar that is on the patio.
