A luxurious waterfront retreat with quality stainless appliances, pillowtop and double memory foam bed, cotton rich sheets, marble, quartz and hardwood floors throughout. Cul-de-sac house sits on a cliff and have steps leading down to a private dock. Enjoy panoramic views of the river and wildlife! 10ft soaring ceilings in main living area and expansive glass windows let you enjoy the views without any feelings of cabin fever. Relax in full marble tiled shower with oversized rainfall shower head. Wake up to the incredible sunrise view, enjoy a fire with smokeless solo stove, jump in the river, go fishing , kayaking, play pickleball and board games. Explore nearby historic sites, wineries, tiki bar, farms, farmer's market, Armish shops ...The ways to enjoy this place are endless!

About the property:
2 bedrooms each with queen beds, very comfortable pillowtop spring mattress in master and thick memory foam mattress in bedroom below, 1 queen sofa bed (crate and barrel pull out couch). We also have an extra twin air mattress for additional guests. House will sleep 4 comfortably, and up to 7 in total if you need with the extra mattresses. While we are newly listed here, our property has 100% 5 star reviews on another popular hosting website! Kids cutleries , high chair and crib available for rent on request. Host lives in adjoining building, none of the hosts interior space is connected to the guest's building for your maximum privacy.

Hospitality and amazing views!

This was an amazing property. The water views are stunning, and the owners thought of everything from make-up wipes to tea bags to an over-abundance of extra towels and even filled ice cube trays in the freezer. Nothing has been missed to offer guests everything they need! The beds were very comfortable, the shower was spa-like, and overall space was impeccably kept up and clean. The owners are generous and great with communication! We will definitely be back!

Birthday by the Bay

Beautiful, truly immaculate guesthouse on the water 15 minutes from Solomon’s Island, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful lawn, and deck, and kayaks to use on the water. Hubby & dog loved the quiet surroundings, close to many state parks & hiking trails. Great location when visiting the area- California, Leonardtown, St Mary’s, Calvert Cliffs. Cute balcony w couch, table & water view.

Lovely stay

Clean and peaceful location. Had 4 women so only negative was 1 bathroom. Not a problem if there were at least mirrors on wall in bedrooms or somewhere other than bathroom. Enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable.

Beautiful & Tranquil

Our host was wonderful, and our stay was comfortable in this beautiful place with a great relaxing view of the water. My favorite time of the day was sitting on the balcony early mornings with coffee, watching the sunrise and hearing the sounds of life outdoors. The accommodations were very clean & uncluttered, kitchen stocked with all we needed to prepare meals, comfortable bedding and furnishings. This property is close enough to run out for groceries or forgotten items and not too far from many historic sites, parks or beach. This was our first time booking through VRBO and we were very pleased with our stay. We would love to return next summer or fall.

stylish country getaway

After vacationing in the chesapeake for years, I would say this is a gem of a place- superbly stylish and modern, resort-like bathroom suite (which I suspect is bigger than my bedroom at home) The house is very comfortable and feel like you are outdoors with those big glass windows. Fully stocked kitchen, great views, near Solomon's island and also a stone throw away from all the big box stores if you need anything. And to add very clean too! Highly recommended.

Amazing quality and views

Great stay, super clean, love the high quality linens and hotel quality comfy bed, complimentary coffee /tea...Also love the pretty cool tech in the house- remote control shades and climate control.. Nice country setting, and easy drive to DC as well. Saw some big ospreys, hawks, eagles, horseshoe crabs and rays on the river, we had fun kayaking on the river. Sweet experience and highly recommend!
