In the garden, there is a step to the small patio area. . Ridgeway sits in an elevated position in the Malvern Hills and on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. This property is newly renovated (2022) and offers beautiful views of the Malvern Hills. It is situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and these hills can be reached by foot straight from the property. Step out from Ridgeway and walk in the footsteps of Elgar, C.S. Lewis and Tolkein. Head north for Worcestershire Beacon, the highest peak of the Malvern Hills or south for Perseverance Hill, Pinnacle Hill and onto British Camp, an Iron Age hill fort located at the top of the Herefordshire Beacon.



Great Malvern town centre is a few minutes’ drive from Ridgeway, and Ledbury is a 15-minute drive. Both have a good selection of restaurants, independent shops and supermarkets. Ridgeway is ideally placed for the Three Counties Show Ground which hosts the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, the Royal Three Counties Show and the Malvern Autumn Show.



There are miles of footpaths throughout these hills of varying degrees of difficulty. The MalvernsWalks App provides a good many routes for both town and hill walking. There are also miles of designated mountain bike routes. The cottage is set up for walkers and cyclists with bike storage, electric for charging e-bikes and a boot and kit cleaning area.



The property has a large kitchen/diner that is well equipped and there is a range cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer to help with those meals in. The sitting room comfortably seats five where you can relax in front of a wood burner on those cold days and look out to the Malvern Hills. A basket of logs is provided and more can be purchased locally. There is a Smart TV, and good Wi-Fi signal is available throughout the property. There is also a small patio area that catches the sun for those warmer days and an outdoor table and sufficient chairs are provided. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds which have medium/firm pocket sprung mattresses and the crisp linen is professionally cleaned and pressed for your stay. All towels are provided.



Ridgeway is a cosy and comfortable holiday cottage which enjoys the sun, when it’s out, for much of the day. You will find plenty to do during your stay if you seek activity or you can simply stop and rest a while and find a quiet, peaceful retreat within these ancient, beautiful hills.
