"Logged Inn”

Beautiful and cozy 2 bedroom cabin nestled in the Bluegrass and Appalachian mountain region at Yatesville Lake on the border of West Virginia and Kentucky. The cabin is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath, washer and dryer. Open living and dining area is anchored by cozy fireplace with beautiful live edge black walnut wood mantle. Reclining couch and love seat to enjoy watching 50 inch smart tv or spending time with family. Kitchen features all new hickory cabinets and new appliances. It also contains all the necessities you need to prepare your favorite breakfast, lunch or dinner. One full bathroom with shower/tub combo and plenty of towels, washcloths and hand towels to last your entire visit. Tissue paper also supplied. Downstairs bedroom sleeps 2 with log king size bed. Bedroom also has beautiful log dresser and armoire. Upstairs bedroom sleeps 6 with 2 log queen beds and beautiful log futon. Upstairs bedroom also features private covered porch over looking nature at its best. Each bedroom contains 32 inch smart tv. One full size air mattresses also available for use.
The cabin has a beautiful wrap around covered porch with a swing and plenty of chairs to relax and enjoy the abundance of nature and wildlife including a Bald Eagle above. Spacious yard with fire pit to enjoy doing your favorite activities including corn hole or just roast marshmallows and share stories. Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate there is a variety of board games to enjoy inside. Although in the mountains you still have the convenience of shopping, dining and other activities just minutes away. Walmart is less than 15 minutes away with several mini plazas nearby. Cabin is situated between two boat docks approximately one mile either way from main route and a walking trail to the lake. Lake marina with kayak and boat rentals, hiking trails including the Mary Ingles trail, campground, horseback riding, 18 hole golf course, tubing and boating are all within minutes of cabin. Many other parks and activities are located in the surrounding areas such as Hatfield and McCoy ATV trail system, Carter Caves, Grayson Lake, Paintsville Lake, Rush Off Roading, Jenny Wiley State Park, Loretta Lynn Home Place and The Hatfield and McCoy landmarks along with much more. Road to cabin is gravel but is county maintained so that even a small car is operational. Trailers or boats over 20 foot has an additional parking area within 40 yards of cabin. Whether you want adventure, a romantic getaway or just a place to relax this is the cabin for you.

Family reunion

Very nice cabin. Fairly well kept. Just a couple of dings in the doors, air mattress not usable due to 3 leaks found when we blew it up. Wrap around porch was fabulous. Very private. Clean, with rustic decor. Beds were very comfortable.

Grand Trip

The cabin and property were excellent. We enjoyed the porch and set up croquet on the yard. Beds were great. Five grandchildren stayed in the upstairs bedroom with plenty of room. Having their own private deck tickled them. The Twister game at the cabin was a huge hit.

A weekend away.

This is a perfect getaway. Close enough to civilization to get anything you need, far enough away to avoid anything you dont. This cabin is very cozy, and is perfect for a retreat for family or couple. I will not hesitate to be back and we are already discussing the fall.

Very relaxing little getaway!

We enjoyed our short time away, and we couldnt have picked a better place!! Very nice, relaxing off the beaten path cabin! The best place to disconnect from the world and enjoy some peace and quiet!! Everything was perfect! The cabin is very clean and well stocked, every detail covered! Communication with host is the best we've experienced! We will definitely return everytime we need a reset!

Loved the cabin

My family and I loved the cabin. My husband grew up in the area so he was somewhat familiar with where the cabin was. Cabin was amazing. Scenery was beautiful. It was very quiet and relaxing. We had one little electrical issue and the property owner was going to come take a look until we figured it out.would stay there again.

Couldn’t have asked for more!

I do have one complaint…I totally overpacked!!! I was not aware of how much stuff I did not need to bring! They had coffee, sweetener, bag of ice in the freezer, gallon of water in the fridge, soap at all sinks, surface cleaners, plastic ware, salt & pepper, and more. Only thing they did not supply (which was not expected and totally prepared for was laundry soap). Spotlessly clean. Answered all questions prior to arrival in no time. Provided blankets for couch snuggles. Games inside and out for the adult kids. Could not have asked for anything more!!!

Hidden Gem

We had such an amazing experience staying in this cabin and swimming in the Yatesville lake. The cabin is very clean and equipped with everything you need. The owner is very good at communicating and is very accommodating. Next time we will definitely bring a four wheeler and boat with us to enjoy the trails and fishing. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and will be back very soon!

Perfect getaway!

We had the best time staying at this lovely cabin. As soon as you open the door it smells fresh and is very clean. Comfortable beds. Amazing views and an overall great place to unplug and unwind. Really enjoyed the games and puzzles. Kitchen was well equipped too.
