I was due to stay here to visit friends when lockdown 2.0 was announced to start 1/2 way through my stay. I decided not to travel at all and wasn’t offered a refund. I did book on a non refundable basis but due to the fact it was illegal for me travel for half of my trip (4 days) I think I should have been offered a refund for the 4 days due to COVID lockdown legislation. There was communication with the owner but as soon as I told her that it wasn’t for business and I was not legally allowed to stay there for the last half of my stay I never heard a thing back. I accept that it was non refundable for the first half of my due stay as this was my decision but the second half should have been refunded. I feel I have been ripped off topped off with awful communication and no support from hotels.com. I won’t be using either again!!!
