The Space:
Unpack and settle into this gorgeous home in Alcântara and get ready to explore Lisbon.

The real highlights of the home are the small balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air with views and also modernly decorated interior.

The living room boasts tasteful interior decor that makes this a beautiful space in which to relax, socialize or work. After a long day of exploring the city, take the weight off your feet on the sofa and truly feel at home! The sofa even converts into a double sofa bed to accommodate extra guests.

Move through to the kitchen and you’ll find an array of modern appliances and cooking implements.

The master bedroom has a super comfortable double bed with fresh hotel-quality linens. There’s also ample storage and wardrobe space so you can fully unpack and settle in.

In the mornings, when you want to freshen up, just head through to the well-appointed bathroom, where you can enjoy an energising shower. Towels and toiletries are provided.

The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay.

Guest Access:
You will have the entire property to yourself. We will provide you with the products needed for it, as well as basic supplies for shower.

The Neighborhood:
Located on the shore of the Tejo River, between the old downtown and the Belém district, Alcântara is a rejuvenated post-industrial area, now filled with artists, entrepreneurs, and creative industries, as well as a good selection of trendy bars and restaurants. No stay in the area is complete without a shopping trip to The LX Factory; a chic and hip road of converted warehouses that are home to boutique shops such as the brilliant Ler Devagar Bookshop and plenty of restaurants offering an eclectic mix of cuiromasines. The Sunday flea market is also a treat. Visit the Museu da Carris to learn about the history of the city’s transport network, especially the iconic yellow trams, or the Museu do Oriente, to learn about Portugal’s ties to Asia during the age of discoveries.

For restaurants and bars, Alcântara is a fun and unpretentious place to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Rio Maravilha in The LX Factory is a popular rooftop bar that serves both delicious food and great cocktails, with terrace seating looking across the city and the river. For those with a sweet tooth looking for the perfect dessert, then Landeau in The LX Factory is considered by some to make one of the best chocolate cakes in the world.

Unresponsive Management

The bathroom sink was blocked, which I reported right away. Management responded nearly 3 days later…The washing machine did not work: response 2 days later. See a pattern? Until this stay, I had only had positive experiences with VRBO—I’m very disappointed.
