There were some negatives things about this house for which I would not stay again.A few of them cant be fixed such as, the house shares a driveway with two other house and sits in the middle of the three. The first house is currently under construction (August 2025) the other house has a raised deck that is very close to the windows, so that if the deck is in use you can hear the conversations if the windows are open, and rhe house has no A/C so the windows are open if there are people outside.The driveway is also very steep, and there are signs that read “no parking” along the street and The house has no usable yard.The kitchen lacks counter space for food preparation and cooking and is a bit small for the size of the house it is also up 3 flights if stairs. So thise are the things that cant be fixed.Other things that were bothersome, the couch is old and stained and sinks in when you sit on it, the pans in the kitchen are teflon coated but are scratched up. The hottub had Sand in the bottom if it, the keypad needed new batteries, (they gave us a code for the lockbox to access a key after reaching out).Positive things about the house; the community has a nice park and a pool, the beach access has stairs but is close, the biew from the third floor allows you to see the ocean, there is a row of houses between you and the ocean, but you do have a view.The third floor is bright and open you get a beachy coastal feel on the third floor.

The home was very spacious for our family of 7. Hot tub was amazing, definitely our favorite place to gather and hang out. The home could use a little more attention to detail as far as cleanliness goes, and updates particularly for the kitchen would make this home a true 5 star place to stay. That being said, we all had a really great time and will certainly stay again!

Beautiful blue bayou

The home was lovely. Our kids enjoyed it. LOTS of stairs but that’s cool because now I have a butt. I used to have what they call a “Hank Hill Butt”, but after climbing all of those stairs for four days, I now have the backside of a seasoned baseball player. I need new jeans! You could put a cup of coffee on my butt and rest it there like it’s a shelf! The only complaint I have is the BBQ was unusable. Rusted, rotted and falling apart. Also could NOT figure out the fireplaces, despite instructions posted, but that could have been user error. Also had issues with the door code and had to contact customer service but they were very helpful. Also, the cat puzzle upstairs is missing 6 pieces, including one of their faces. Just be aware of that if cat puzzles are your passion. Other than that, lots of room for our family! Would recommend.

Exceeded expectations!

This house was better than pictured! The perfect getaway and house was wonderful. Ocean view, cozy, clean. Checkout process as well as an info book or resource wasn't listed anywhere and had to contact property management company for a couple things. Would've been nice to have.

First time renting a vacation home.

It was super easy to do and the renting process was so smooth. The house was a little bit steep if you are older or have a disability (I was on crutches,my own fault!). The upstairs TV didn't work but with so many guests I'm sure stuff like that happens. The kitchen was stocked with spices and pots and pans so that was AMAZING! Overall would 10/10 recommend the blue bayou! Thank you!

Perfect home for our group of brothers family with newborn and 5 year old, myself and 3 grown children. Layout was great and beautiful neighborhood, nice walk to beach. Stairs may be a lot for some but no problem for out group. Would stay again.

Nice house but…

It’s a nice house and we had a good time. Just be aware that there are a LOT of stairs (inside the house, outside the house and to the beach). Also a lot of the amenities were not working. Only half the jets in the hot tub worked, the grill and fireplace did not work at all, one of the showers doesn’t drain and the pool that was supposed to be open until the 30th was closed. There were also a lot of pet stains on the carpets. We still had a good time but I would not stay in this home again.

Vacation to remember

This 3 story house with hot tub was am amazing place. It was surprisingly close to beach access to the ocean. Very well Centrally located by grocery store and more. Great neighborhood, there was plenty of room for everyone in my group and there was 10 of us. The only downfalls to this stay was the driveway is very steep and angled straight up so taking a car up it was a little difficult and the kitchen is located on the very top floor so if you have older people this will be a challenge and very exhausting to get up and down to enjoy hot tub, decks, beach ect... but overall we loved this place and didn't want to leave. Home is beautiful just like the views you get from the decks.

Super Cute House

We had a great visit to Olivia Beach. House was as listed and we loved all the natural light. The kitchen was great for everyone to hang out at. My only disappointment was cleanliness. There was a half eaten apple left next to the sofa, surfaces were dirty and we didnt end up using the pull out bc when we lifted the cushions it was soooo filthy. The house definitely needs some deeper cleaning done but overall it was a great visit and we would stay again :)

Christmas with the grandkids

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Bayou. The property was very clean and well stocked. The kids loved the bunk beds and playroom with all the books. The king bedrooms on second floor were wonderful with the en suite bathrooms. The living area on top floor was spacious with a great kitchen area, again, well stocked. Would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Perfect for the long weekend.

This home was perfect for our family. Very clean and modern. Note to families of young children: the bedroom with the bunk beds and the game room are both on the first floor right by the main entrance and away from the master bedrooms (both on the second floor). This was perfect for my kids who are older, but might be problematic for families with littles. The main living space is on the 3rd floor. There isn't a fenced yard but a park is within walking distance if you bring a dog.

House, location, hot tub, and view were all perfect! Each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was really nice. Kitchen and living area nice and open for all to be together. Would definitely stay here again!!
