Welcome to Dover Treetop Cabin. Originally built in 1982, this stunning trim-level retreat was completely renovated in 2022, blending modern architecture and design with natural elements.

3 Levels, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2,158 sq.ft

1st level:
Step into the inviting open floor plan where the living room seamlessly connect so the family room and kitchen, all leading to the upper level tree top deck. The well equipped kitchen features Samsung appliances, a Keurig coffee machine, and more ensuring your culinary needs are met. The living room is divided into two sections; a high end mid-century modern style sitting area with a cozy fireplace, perfect for chilly nights, and an adjacent living area with a spacious modern sofa in front of a 55-inch TV and an array of games for your enjoyment.

This open and spacious layout creates the ideal setting to share a home cooked meal, recount your day's adventures, create cherished memories, and bond over a cup of delicious hot cocoa. Or, for those seeking relaxation, simply wrap yourself in an ultra-soft luxury blanket and unwind while watching a movie on the comfortable sofa. The possibilities are endless in this space, designed to help you create unforgettable memories while you unwind.

2nd Level:
Heading down the stairs to the second level you'll discover the first three bedrooms, each offering its own unique and inviting ambiance. Every room has a sense of coziness and luxury, ensuring a restful and delightful stay for you.

Bedroom 1:
Indulge in the comfort of a firm queen spring mattress, designed to whisk away the stresses of the big city. Drift into a quiet sleep, leaving all worries behind you as you embrace the serenity of living in the forest.

Bedroom 2:
Rejuvenate and replenish your energy with an ultra-soft queen spring mattress. Wake up refreshed and ready to embrace the day after spending the night in this cozy sanctuary.

Bedroom 3:
Escape from the outside world and relish in the comfort of an ultra-soft queen spring mattress. This minimalist and luxurious design will offer a serene oasis free from distractions so you can recharge.

Bathroom Level 2:
Indulge in this newly remodeled bathroom, offering both a walk-in shower and a full bathtub. The perfect setting for a relaxing night in, where you can unwind and let go of all your worries. Treat yourself to a glass of your favorite beverage, put on some soothing music, or read a new book as you relax in this exquisite space.

3rd level:
As you venture down the next set of stairs you get to the lower level of the home, with two more unique bedrooms. One is a charming secret loft for kids, offering them a cozy and playful retreat. The other is a luxurious master suite, complete with an ensuite bathroom and a private deck. The spaces promise you a restful sleep and memorable stay.

Room 4:
The Kids Loft room is definitely one of the coolest rooms in the cabin. It features a firm double spring mattress that promises a comfortable nights sleep. With its playful loft design, kids will be captivated by this enchanting space, complete with cozy bean bag chairs, a fun space theme and an assortment of children's books and toys. Your little ones will adore having their own loft space during their stay.

Room 5:
The master suite is complete with a semi-firm foam queen mattress, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating sleep. The room has its own living area and a private ensuite bath with a convenient walk in shower. For added warmth and coziness, there is a gas fire stove, creating a delightful ambiance during chilly evenings. Unwind with entertainment on the 43-inch Smart TV, or step outside to the private deck and bask in the breathtaking beauty of the forest.

For those working remotely, a full desk is thoughtfully provided in this space, allowing you to extend your trip without worrying about office duties.

Needing extra sleeping arrangements? No problem! The room also includes an additional pull-out mattress from the full couch, ensuring ample space for everyone.

This modern-day treetop cabin in Lake Arrowhead can accommodate up to 10 people. Each bedroom has high end mattresses, and the entire cabin has undergone renovations to give you a fresh and modern feel, while still be nestled in the forest.

PARKING:
There is space for 2 cars only on the driveway and no street parking available. If there is no snow, we are able to accommodate an extra vehicle on the street at our private home, 12 minutes away. Please note there is also no paid parking garages or lots available in Lake Arrowhead, please plan accordingly.

There is WiFi and Central Heating throughout the house, please note we do not have Air Conditioning. However we have provided stand up fans in each room to increase your comfort.

While Lake Arrowhead is a private lake and does not have general lake access to visitors, you can still enjoy taking a tour on the Arrowhead Queen or Ski Lessons at McKenzie Water Ski School.

Fire extinguishers, Smoke alarms, CO2 detectors and emergency flashlights have been placed throughout the entire house.

Security cameras with motion sensor LED lights are strategically placed on the outside of the house only on the driveway, through the Ring Doorbell and on the restricted area that goes underneath the home.

Please note that the house will be professionally cleaned before your arrival but as with any mountain retreat, you will have occasional bugs, dust, and spider webs. This is unavoidable and should not be viewed negatively as this is just part of the mountain experience.

Make sure to check weather conditions before driving up the mountain. You may need to ensure you have the appropriate vehicle (during snow season). No refunds will be given if you cannot make it to the cabin.

Please note we are a strict NON-SMOKING home. There is no smoking allowed inside or outside the property. Vaping is allowed outside only. Any smoking will result in professional smoke remediation cleaning and billed directly to the renter - cost averages from $3,000 - $6,000 depending on smoke damage.

The host is not liable for any weather conditions that may affect your arrival and stay.

Guest have access to the entire house except for the areas used for storage only.

We are full timers living on the mountain and are here if you need anything at all!
