Not what I expected

The house initially appeared clean on arrival, but was only superficially clean. The floors were dirty enough that the bottom of my feet became dark with dirt after walking around. The stove knobs were covered in oil splatter and the pots weren't very clean. We had to re-wash everything before use. There was no knife block, or any cutting knife/board, making food preparation difficult. The bathroom has no ventilation, so the house became humid after every shower. There's no screen on the window, so it couldn't be opened without fear of bugs or critters coming in. The shower knob was broken, and the floor under the bathtub felt "squishy", probably from wood rot.The pool was not clean and the pump was not turned on, so we couldn't even use it. I contacted the rental company after arrival (Friday) and, after an initial response text, I didn't hear anything until I received a text about the pool company coming out after we checked out (Sunday). We couldn't use the smart TV functions at all. There was only a remote for the cable, but it wasn't universal. And the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. It kept disconnecting, making our phones useless if we were trying to watch any thing.It wasn't made clear that there weren't floor -to-ceiling walls between the rooms, and only had a shared ceiling fan/light. Curtains were hung in the doorway to the bedrooms for "privacy".

Quick stop on our spring break

Found this property and were excited with location! If you want to be in the heart of things-this was great! Parking was a plus. Pool entertained kids. Read listing as you are CLOSE to things-the music and fun from Duval added to our enjoyment!

Great location

We came to celebrate our 40th anniversary and wanted to be close to Duvall. The pool was awesome. Pool guys came by everyday to sweep the pool deck and check the water. The music from the bar behind was good to listen to at night while in the pool. We really couldn't hear it in the house. But if you're looking for privacy from your group, this would not work. We could hear every sound from the other bedroom as the wall does NOT go all the way up. But we definitely would stay here again if got the chance.

Beautiful Cottage

Great place and a nice large pool. Location is was amazing for New Year’s Eve! I wish we had a few more towels and toiletries etc. we might stay here again, thank you.

Cute House - Terrible service

The house and backyard were as cute as can be. There was black mold on the shower wall, it took forever to get them out to take care of it. Asked for cleaning products; 6 of us staying for 6 days, wanted to keep it clean. We were told they don't supply it. One dishcloth, 4 coffees, 4 pods for dishwasher. I was very unhappy with the company. Won't use them again.

Great location

Only a few things that i would change. Living room needs blinds bc people walking by can see in and the larger bedroom needs a mirror. Pool was nice. More lighting in back for night time swimming would be helpful. Nice size for two couples

Location location location

We enjoyed this rental very much. EVERYTHING was within walking distance. Food, grocery, entertainment, Duvall St. The pool was much bigger than expected and an oasis. There was music from a local place but you couldn’t hear it inside.

Perfect Location

The location was perfect! We were able to park (an absolute bonus to be able to park on site) and walk literally everywhere. Yes, there is a bar that bumps at night but the music can barely be heard from the smaller room and we brought earplugs to sleep and had no issues. The pool was a FANTASTIC luxury and we enjoyed it very much between going out and just relaxing.

Great Location!

We had a such a great time. It's right off the strip and although there was a bar/club next door, when we were inside, we couldn't really hear much - which was nice! The walls that separated the rooms tho do not go up all the way to the ceiling - that was interesting! Wish there was one more bathroom as 1 for 6 people is a little tight. Private pool was amazing (and warm)! Would definitely recommend and come back again!

The Bars Music next door TOO LOUD!!! EXCESSIVE!

This is a cute little cottage, in a good location for walking everywhere. HOWEVER, DO NOT PLAN ON SLEEPING AT NIGHT! The music from the bar next door is LOUD (understatement) and plays until at least 2:30AM. It was like having a DJ in the bedroom. The subwoofers from the music were beating my chest. I would not recommend staying here if you want to go to sleep prior to 3:00AM! We can party with the best of them, and we enjoy our music, but this was EXCESSIVE! On Sunday, Christmas evening, the music was so obnoxiously loud, and they did not shut it down until 3:00AM. We were with our adult children ages 23 and 25, and even they could not stand it. The bedrooms do not have walls that go all the way up to the ceiling so do not expect any privacy. The bed in the 2nd bedroom needs a new frame. Every time my son rolled over in bed during the night it woke the entire cottage and we thought the bed was going to fall to the ground. The mattresses were fine, but get a new bed frame! This cottage also does not have any heat. Only 2 wall air conditioners. Unfortunately, we were staying during the cold snap Dec. 24-26th, and it was cold! It was 54 degrees. We did call the management co. and they brought us 4 additional THIN blankets so that helped a little. The pool was clean and warm, although it was too cold outside (54 degrees) for us to enjoy it. Having off street parking was also nice.

Thanksgiving getaway

The location of this property was ideal for our friend group, steps away from Duval and the middle of many resteraunts and shops. The private backyard and pool was well kept and enjoyed using the grill for lunch. The two bedrooms are separated by a 3/4 wall (wall doesn't go up to the ceiling so not entirely private) with the smaller bedroom having an extremely loud bed. If you sat on it the creaking could be heard throughout the home. There is a club adjacent to the property that had music playing all day and into the night which if your looking to lay at the pool in quite, this is not the place for you. You cannot heard the music in the house with the a/c's on.

Perfect spot for being close to Duval St. Backyard and pool were wonderful. The house was clean and tidy however it really needs all new mattresses including the sofa bed. Also, there was not adequate lighting in the kitchen.
