With views of the sand dunes, Sea Glass Cottage #3 is the perfect getaway for a romantic beach vacation or a solitary retreat. Spend your days walking along the beach, exploring the coastal paths, and admiring the beautiful sunset. Sea Glass Cottage #3 is located on the northeast corner of the property and is the perfect place to immerse yourself in a peaceful and picturesque beach experience. This inviting retreat boasts a cozy open-concept living area with exposed wood beam ceilings and beach-inspired decor. Outfitted with a dining table for three, a comfortable couch, and a Smart TV (cable + streaming capabilities), unwind after your day of sun and surf. Watch your favorite movies or shows on the cozy couch or whip up a quick and easy meal in the fully equipped kitchen. After a restful sleep in the queen-sized bed, enjoy a warm shower in the full bathroom (shower bath) to refresh for the day ahead. With linens, beach towels, and a hair dryer provided, you will have everything needed for an unforgettable beach stay. In addition, there is a shared washer and dryer for your convenience.

Neighborhood Overview:

Sea Glass Cottage is conveniently located on the laid-back north end of the island and is a quick drive to all of the island`s best dining and shopping. Although it is about as close as you can get to the historic downtown while still being on the beach, the north end of the island tends to be a little bit quieter than most other areas of the island as there is minimal through traffic. The beach is generally not very crowded and is frequented by locals and surfers.

Within walking distance, you will find Main Beach which features the Salt Life and Sandbar Kitchen restaurants, a playground, and beachside putt putt golf. From Main Beach, Amelia Island`s downtown historic district is just a short drive down Atlantic Avenue. There you will find plenty of wonderful restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and local culture. Fort Clinch State Park is also located along Atlantic Avenue. The park features the 19th century Fort Clinch (open to the public for tours), a great beach, and lots of beautiful trails for hiking or biking.

Getting Around:

Amelia Island is a small area and is easy to navigate! There is free parking available throughout the entire island, making driving very easy to any place you choose to visit.

Although Uber/Lyft are not very reliable on the island (we strongly recommend bringing a car), they are available through the app on your smartphone.

Bike rentals are available at `The Beach Store` located approximately two miles south of Sea Glass Cottage. Riptide Watersports also delivers bikes.

Other Information:

• Dog-friendly for up to two dogs! We have a 50-pound weight limit per dog and all dogs must be approved prior to check-in. The pet fee is $250.
• Guests will have full access to all common areas of the property, including the courtyard and shared washer and dryer.
• Self check-in via coded smart lock.
• For your convenience, the unit is stocked with an iron/ironing board, broom/dustpan, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, and beach towels.
• Fresh linens, a starter supply of housekeeping supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, basic toiletries, K-Cups, and trash bags are all included.
Ocean Avenue – Unit 3

• Check-in: After 4:00 PM – Please do not arrive prior to the check in time without prior approval.
• Checkout: 10:00 AM
• Self check-in with keypad
• No smoking or drug use on the property
• Only registered guests staying at the property are allowed on the premises - Max. 2 guests
• No parties, weddings or events of any kind
• Pets: Dogs under 50 pounds are allowed with prior approval from management (no dogs that shed allowed) - $250 pet fee

Check In: Check-in is 4:00pm.
We do our best to have your accommodations available by this time. Peak times and holidays are especially difficult, so please understand we are working hard to have your unit available as soon as possible. We cannot make refunds for a delayed check-in time. Please do not arrive to the property early if not approved. Our cleaners are working hard to get it ready for your arrival.

Check-Out: Check-out time is scheduled by 10:00am. Late check-outs must be pre-approved, are not guaranteed, and may incur an extra fee. There is a tight cleaning schedule between guests. If you overstay your check-out time you will incur a fee of $75/hour.

Check-Out Procedure: We ask that you leave the premises in the same general condition as it was found. Please do the following upon check-out:
1) Bag your garbage and recycling and take it to the blue (trash) or yellow (recycling) bins on the side of the house.
2) Leave all sheets and other bedding on its assigned bed. Place dirty towels in a neat pile on the bathroom floors.
3) Wash dirty dishes. Do not leave dirty dishes in unit.
4) Leave all furniture arranged as originally found.
5) Check all drawers and closets for personal items. Disconnect from any streaming accounts.
6) Clean out all refrigerators and freezers.
7) Lock all windows and doors. CLOSE ALL BLINDS.
8) Set thermostat to a seasonably appropriate temperature and leave ceiling fans running.
9) Lock all doors behind you.

Property inspections will be made after check-out. There will be a charge if the above procedures are not followed or any damage is found.

Furnishings: Basic equipment and furnishings for a comfortable vacation are provided. If you move furniture while occupying the property, you must return furniture to its original position prior to departure. Do not remove furniture (including patio furniture) from the property.

Property Descriptions: Rates, descriptions, bed sizes, inventories, and furnishings are subject to change without notice. Neither the rental agent nor the owner will be obligated to provide replacements or give refunds for failure or absence of any items.

Linens/Towels & Supplies: A limited number of bath, beach, and kitchen towels are provided. With the exception of beach towels (returned to unit upon use), no towels are to be removed from the unit. A starter supply of paper products and soap will be supplied in your unit. You will be responsible for additional supplies during your stay.

Maximum Occupancy: The MAXIMUM number of overnight guests is determined based on the unit size and is listed in the listing details. At any time, no more than the listed maximum number of guests may be in the home unless prior approval is provided. Additional charges may apply.

Age Requirement: The person reserving the unit must be a minimum of 25 years of age and must occupy the property the entire length of the reservation.

Events: Guests are not permitted to hold events at the house. An event is defined as any gathering of people over the maximum occupancy of the unit(s) you are renting. If a guest is found to have held an unauthorized event at the property as defined above, they are subject to immediate eviction with no refund and/or fines for the damage or use of the property for such event.

Decor and Personal Items: Tents, canopies, blow-up pools, or any similar items are not allowed to be setup anywhere on the property or decks. No decor, banners or signs are allowed to be taped or hung anywhere on the property inside or outside. If anything is hung from the walls or windows and there is damage caused from doing so, you will be responsible for the cost of the repairs.

Illegal Substances: No illegal substances are permitted on the property.

Cleaning: If extraordinary cleaning is required, the cost will be charged to the guest card on file. Cleaning fees are charged for all rentals. You are responsible for the cleaning of your unit during your stay and for leaving the unit in good condition at checkout. Additional cleaning is $75 per hour.

Nice place

Water pressure was a bit low for the shower. There was no sponge in the kitchen that I could find. I have never stayed in a VRBO so I am not sure what is supposed to be there and was is not! I did not turn the ceiling fan on in the bedroom because the light would have stayed on. I could not reach the pull string to turn the light off. My stay was excellent.

The property was just as presented online. It was very cozy and just right for the 2 of us. Although the weather was ugly when we were there, the location was great. The beach was just over the dunes. We had all intensions to ride bikes but maybe next time. Salt Life restaurant and The Sandbar were within walking distance. We would certainly recommended staying here.

Perfect Location

If you are looking for a convenient beach location, this is the place! Steps away from the sandy, shell covered beach. This beach is great for walking, watching surfers and of course soaking up the sun. Even though it is close to the road, not many cars go down the road and it is very quiet. The property was just as described and looks just like the pictures. Everything has been remodeled and the decorations and final touches are super cute and beachy. The bed was really comfortable not too soft or hard. Great getaway and would stay here again!!

Ocean right there!

Absolutely a beautiful unit! Felt like we were possibly the first ones staying since it was remodeled!! Clean, clean! Everything we needed was there- toaster, micro, oven, plates etc. Loved the shelving unit in the bedroom! Don't like putting clothes in dressers. TV was not complicated to watch (we are not up to date on all the streaming stuff!). Can't say enough about the closeness to the ocean! Just a short walk over a road and up some stairs and you're there! Very walkable to restaurants/bars/stores and drivable- calm area. Loved seeing all the different dogs on the beach and walking past our unit! If we come this way in the future would have no problem renting from them again. Only down side was we were instructed to not open windows - I do like fresh air and to be able to hear the ocean.

Close to restaurants, felt we had our own little beach love shack! Beach right over dunes
