This updated mountain gem has endless views for a relaxing getaway for the whole family. This spacious home has plenty of charm with its vaulted ceilings and wooden floors. The large deck boasts spectacular views and comfortable outdoor furnishings for daytime or nighttime relaxation and reminiscing. Prepare a meal, simple or gourmet, in the fully equipped kitchen and bring it out to the dining space out on the deck in the mountain air. As the sun dips below the hills, immerse yourself in the bubbling hot tub while admiring the view below. After a day of shopping or hiking, gather around the fire table and sink into the cozy couch with your beverage of choice.

The Village in Idyllwild is a great place to spend the day, with numerous shops, restaurants, and nightlife, just under two miles away. Just over four miles away is Humber Park. With its many nature trails, you can hike all day while taking in nature and observing breathtaking views. Head to Idyllwild Nature Center, just under three miles away, for more hiking trails or picnicking and learn about the Cahuilla Native Culture!

THINGS TO KNOW
Riverside County regulations prohibit any "party" lighting (outdoor luminaires shall not blink, flash, or rotate) and will hold guests/Vacasa liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.
Please note the 3rd bedroom is a detached ensuite located on the first floor of the home. There is no direct access from inside the main home.
The toddler bed and kitchenette are no longer in the home

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Amazing cabin, what a view! My family really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for our long weekend getaway, and access to mountain biking, fishing, and town. The cabin was extremely clean, check in and out were easy, and everything was as advertised. Would recommend to others and would come back.

Beautifil hidden gem

Beautiful home with amazing balcony overlooking the serene mountains. Perfect for families and couples. I would love to come back. The outdoor jacuzzi and firepit were amazing!! I highly recommend this Beautiful home.

Beautiful views!

This Idyllwild house was a perfect getaway with friends. The location was so relaxing and quiet. The wrap around deck had ample seating, a nice fire pit lounge area, and below ground hot tub. The hot tub was awesome but the temp didn’t get too hot. The entire house was clean, cozy, and the kitchen was stocked with the right tools and appliances. Luckily we went on a weekend when the weather was getting cooler (around 73-77) so we didn’t rely on the AC that much. But if it was in the 90s+, the AC might not be enough. We didn’t see any vents in the bedrooms. They had fans available. Overall great spot. We definitely want to go back.

Jaw dropping view!

The place has been nicely updated with an open feel and beautiful views from main living area. Large deck with stunning views and nice hot tub to enjoy. 3rd bedroom is detached under main level is large and has been beautifully remodeled. Great location. Small issue was very low quality and quantity of kitchen items.

Thank you so much for having us! Just as everyone has mentioned this place was amazing! The view was spectacular! Checking in was super easy! Only interacted with staff because I didn't read my email/messages clearly and asked for the code to the bottom section when it had already provided. 😅 Otherwise the home was clean, stocked accordingly, we weren't missing anything. I will say if you stay at the bottom you will hear all the footsteps coming from upstairs. I wish the master room was connected to the rest of the upstairs someway but its manageable. Will definitely keep this on my list for any future reference and highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful views

This cozy stay is quiet with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee as you watch the clouds below you… yes because you are above the clouds… is amazing. Deer also visit the area. There is one bedroom below the main floor with a gorgeous bathroom however one must know that if you stay in this bedroom you are separated from the main part of the house and must go outside up the stairs to be with the rest of your group. If you want privacy, it’s perfect.

Great location. Clean and well decorated. Couple suggestions that would make it a little less obviously a rental-only property: towel racks for bathrooms, toilet paper roll holder, clothes hangers in closets, more utensils. Simple and cheap additions. Also tip for those staying in master bedroom on ground floor: if anticipate cold in the pm, make sure the heater is active and on in the unit above. That might mean opening some of the windows in the unit above to cool it off and activate the heater in the early evening.

Cozy place with a gorgeous view

Enjoyed the view from the deck's hot tub and comfy deck furniture/fire pit, and enjoyed the view from inside the cozy family room. Kitchen had the basics for cooking basics. The pix do it justice if slightly biased towards it looking bigger than it is. The upstairs and the lower stairs have separate entrances. Vacasa manages this place, and they were very helpful as we faced a coming large snowstorm. If we were to come back some day, we would look up this property again.

Breathtaking Views!

Light, bright home with breathtaking views. The deck has a hot tub, fire pit and outdoor dining which lets you further enjoy the views. It would've helped if basics like paper towels, dishwasher tabs, clothes hangers etc were provided. Otherwise, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Nice space and neighborhood gorgeous view hot hot hot

Easy check in with comprehensive instructions. Nice quiet pretty neighborhood. Beautiful overlook with a great deck. A large newer tilting deck umbrella is needed as the upstairs portion of the house gets full sun. Either the air conditioning did not work upstairs or the nest thermostat was locked as it was 82-86 degrees upstairs while nice and cool downstairs. Unfortunately that made it very uncomfortable as we had to spend the afternoons and early evenings in the basement room which does not have a tv or seating for 4. Unfortunately management didn’t get back to us regarding the thermostat issue. The customer service reps were very nice and all of them each time promised someone would get back to us within 15-30 minutes but we never heard from anyone. The basement room is very nice, very spa like and stayed cool. The grill is easy to use the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The bathrooms very nice and clean as well. The upstairs rooms were roomy clean very comfortable beds.

Loved this place!

We had a great time and really enjoyed this property. The views were gorgeous and the place was charming. The only thing that didn’t work for us is that the downstairs bedroom is separate from the rest which wasn’t practical for our family. The bedrooms were pretty sparse but comfortable and the bedding was nice. We would definitely come back!

Quite possibly the best short vacation

The property is perched up overlooking such an amazing view. The property itself is beautiful. It’s just... I can’t say enough good things about it. I will 100% be staying here again. Extremely sad we had to leave!

Beautiful view and location!

We had a great stay at this home! The location was easy to get to and view was amazing. We spent most of our time on the deck by the fire or in the jacuzzi. A few things to note- it may have been described but I missed it but master room is on lower bottom and is accessed by stairs outside-so if you have small children you may stay upstairs with them as they aren’t easily accessed. There is also no microwave 😬 we made our own food and warmed most things up on the stove but some things we were unable to heat up that way. Small things just to know ahead of time! We would still stay again!

Perfect mountain getaway

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at this fantastic property! The view is everything and the updated styling and amenities were much appreciated. We took advantage of the spa and it was perfect during the cool fall nights. We looked forward to staying here again and again when visiting Idyllwild!
