In compliance with City and County Of Honolulu Ordinance Section 19-18, our house is available to rent for a period of 30 days or more. Please contact the owner with any questions. By local law, the property cannot have other tenants during the 30-day term covered by this Agreement, but of course you may leave before the full 30 day rental period.

Our tranquil north shore property directly across the street facing the world famous swimming and scuba nature reserve, shark's cove. (don’t let the name fool you, there are no sharks, but the cove has been rated one of the top 12 shore diving spots in the world by scuba diving magazine.) in the summer months the cove is a tropical paradise that provides some of the best snorkeling and swimming available on oahu. Thousands of excited tourists flock to this destination spot each year to experience its beauty and spiritually regenerative powers. In the winter witness waves crashing against the ancient lava throwing plumes of spray and making your vacation a hawaiian adventure filled with rainbows and often breaching whales. The property offers dramatic ocean views from the expansive deck and the home’s interior. Enjoy the year round dramatic pacific sunsets while you toss another prawn on the gas powered bar-be! Take a relaxing walk or take a stimulating bike ride on the fabled walking, running and bike path that takes you past the best surf spots in the world, pipeline, waimea beach and sunset beach included. Attend surf contests like the triple crown and the eddie aikau, at scheduled times during november through february months. The bike path begins right across the street and runs five miles. Take a short ride or stroll to the most stunning beaches and some of the most famous surf breaks in the world.

The home is in a private tropical setting complete with hibiscus flowers and coconut palms and a large yard includes an outside shower. This three bedroom, one bath remodeled home is comfortable, clean and roomy. Enjoy the large tiled spa styled shower and hawaiiana decor to make your stay memorable and relaxing. The living room opens to a large deck and is furnished with comfortable seating with ocean views.

Five miles away is historic haleiwa town with its rich history and many shops and events. In the other direction, discover the turtle bay resort complete with two golf courses and the rustic and popular kahuku town with its open market, shrimp trucks, and shave ice. Make this a family adventure filled with daily activities or a private restful experience for you and someone you care for. Let the iconic beauty of of oahu's north shore relax and restore you as only a tropical paradise can.

This is an amazing place to stay! If you are looking for a quiet place away from the crowded and busy city, a place in the country, and literally across the road from the best veriety of shore life anywhere, this is the place to be! Awesome waves, beautiful beaches, great snorkeling! There is wifi here and works great. Fully equipped kitchen with ice maker and all the utensils you will need! Grocery store and many food trucks are two minutes or less walking! Be sure to bring your own bags for shopping! Depending on traffic, on average, Honolulu is about 40 to 50 minutes away. Bus transportation is there also, if you dont want to rent a car, but you need to plan your bus schedule. This is the country so you need to plan for a slower pace. Perfect place for a family of 7 or less to stay! There are three bedrooms that all have air conditioning. We definitely plan to come back again some day!

A perfect stay at North Shore

The house is absolutely incredible! It is very nice and clean and provides everything we used! And the location is awesome! The hosts are very friendly and checkin and checkout was very easy! I can recommend the place to everyone and we really hope to come back one day!

Amazing time in North Shore!

We had the best time during our stay. The house was located in a great area. Beach items were available to use which made it nice for a relaxing time at the beach. Patty, the owner, was so sweet and helpful.

Perfect Location

The house is literally right across the street from Shark’s Cove. We watched the amazing sunsets every night and enjoyed having a one minute walk to the beach and amazing snorkeling. The house was clean and spacious and we enjoyed cooking there and eating on the deck S the sun set.The only drawback is maybe the air conditioning being a small swamp cooler in one bedroom. The very back bedroom was very hot and my son ended up sleeping on the living room day bed which was not a problem for us, but good to know. I imagine during summer months it might be too hot for some people. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. I will highly recommend this place to anyone I know going to Oahu. We loved being on the North Shore and away from the city. This location is perfect and peaceful.

Great Stay on North Shore

If you’re looking for a North Shore experience l, central to everything with super laidback hosts then this is the perfect place for you. We loved it and had a great time. We will definitely be back. Patty was super nice and popped by to say hello. I do think it’s important to give honest reviews as it really helps people pick the right place for themselves. The pro’s, the location can’t be beat, the house was clean and had everything you needed, the hosts were great. Patty left lots of extras like beach chairs, snorkels, boogie board etc.we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back. Cons, it’s on the highway which is loud and the AC units are in the bedrooms and to loud to leave in over night so it got a bit stuffy at night. But the fans helped and I don’t mind sleeping warm. If you are looking for the Marriott for an 5 star hotel quiet hotel this is not the place for you. If you want a locals experience in an older house, that is not perfect but functions just as you need. Then this place is perfect. Thanks for the great week Patty, we will be back.

LOVED, LOVED LOVED this property! The North Shore is the place to be. Very laid back compared to Waikiki and Honolulu. This place had everything that you will need for the most memorable Hawaii vacation. Being right across the street from the Ocean and Shark's Cove was amazing to watch the sunsets and whales playing in the water. Do not overlook this property, book it NOW!

Unbeatable value on the North Shore

The house was large and comfortable, on the darker/cosier side and with good sound insulation. The outdoors were nice and we could see the ocean from the porch. The interior / furniture design was simple but comfortable and felt appropriate for the area. The location is exceptional for anyone wanting to enjoy the North Shore - surfers or not. You're within walking distance to Waimea Bay and a 20 min walk from Pipeline, while you have the North Shore's best snorkelling spot right in front of the house and local supermarkets/food trucks literally around the corner. Parking in front of the house is reserved and very convenient in case you prefer using the car.The owners are locals who live next door and are here to help if you need anything as well.Frankly the best value we've booked in Hawaii in the many weeks we stayed on various islands.

Paradise in Paradise

Beautiful home perfect for our family of 6.sharks cove 50ft from your front door,foodland and food trucks less then a 1/4 mile away.owner next door was very nice and attentive.only 45 min from Honolulu,25 min from Polynesian cultural center and 40 min from Kualoah ranch.This home made our vacation amazing and was so much better then a hotel.Muhalo we will be back

Sharks Cove Adventure

Best place to stay in Hawaii. It is across the street from Shark’s Cove so you have the ocean to hear day and night. If you want to experience real Hawaii, not Leeward side resorts, this place is fantastic!

Cozy home setting

Great location

We had a ton of fun at this rental. The location is fantastic! Our kids loved going across the street to Sharks Cove for snorkeling and Keiki Beach for some beach combing. Lots of other places within a few minutes drive too and we enjoyed the slower pace of the north shore. This place had everything we needed for our week long stay

North Shore Stay

This area is very well located. Numerous beaches, grocery store with local products & coffee shop, a magnitude of food options, as well as snorkeling experience in sharks cove directly across the street. The owners were very accommodating, listened to their guests questions, even have some additional water gear for the beach goers. Very homey feel.

Amazing Space + Amazing Location

We had an incredible stay on the North Shore of Oahu! The location of this property is fantastic, just a quick walk to Shark’s Cove and Three Tables Beach, which made our days at the beach so convenient. The porch was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing and a handy spot to keep all the sand toys. The house itself was very clean, and the amount of space was just right—comfortable and cozy. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Oahu’s North Shore!

Amazing Location!

We loved staying across from Sharks cove. Easy walk to food trucks and Three Tables (best for snorkeling!) and Ke iki beaches. Quick 10-15 min drive north or south to great food. Loved our stay!

Best gem on the north shore

This was our second stay at the Shark’s Cove home and we will continue to book this property for future north shore vacation's as long as it’s available. Our kids felt like they were coming “home” this trip since we had stayed here our last trip. Everything was familiar :). This home has an incredible location, it’s right on the highway but it’s set off enough and with the vegetation in the front yard that it feels totally private. You literally have an ocean view home because the magical Shark’s Cove is right across the street. It suits all of our needs and is comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is stocked for meal preparation, the furnishings are comfortable and clean and it really has everything you need for a good time. The lanai is a great gathering and relaxing place and the outdoor shower is so great to have to rinse off post ocean dip. We literally walk to everything - food land for simple groceries, the food truck plaza, Waimea Bay (have you ever tried parking there!?), and other lovely beaches. Having Sharks Cove across the street is the best, enjoy your morning coffee on the rocks in peace, watch the sunsets and of course explore the flora and fauna of the ocean - wave to the honu for us. Patty and Charles are the perfect property hosts, communication when needed but just let us do our thing. Do yourself a favor, book this home for your north shore vacation. But make sure to leave the dates we want for our next trip ;).
