With a premier corner position and an 85-foot wrap-around balcony with sweeping views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico, this beautiful condo will show you the very best of Gulf Shores and The Lighthouse Resort. This beachfront escape features at-home conveniences such as a wet bar for entertaining and a spacious master suite with balcony access, as well as shared on-site amenities that include two hot tubs, two zero-entry outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, a fitness center with a sauna, and 635 feet of private beach.

Beloved among families, couples, and beach-goers of all ages, The Lighthouse Resort is located right on the sand near the center of Gulf Shores. You'll be just over half a mile east of Highway 59, which is home to such family-friendly attractions as Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf. Gulf State Park, with its fishing pier and on-site Woodside Restaurant, is half a mile east, and the Craft Farms Golf Club is five miles north. Sea-N-Suds and The Hangout Gulf Shores are within walking distance, while Big Wave Dave's, The Flying Harpoon 2, Gulf Island Grill, and The Flora-Bama are all a quick drive away.

Spring Break with family

It is a beautiful condo with a spectacular view. The condo and balcony gave everyone space to spread out or huddle up for family time. We had difficulty connecting to the WiFi and there were not enough towels. The floors were not swept well with hairballs and dust bunnies here and there. It did not appear the floors were mopped between guests. Overall it was a great stay and we would come back. Thank you.

Stunning Condo and Views

We just loved this condo. Clean upon arrival and well decorated. It had lots of space and everything we needed. All the windows give the place tons of natural light and you feel like you’re right on the beach itself. Convenient parking and access to pool and beach. This will be our go-to place for family trips! See you next year!

Family Trip

Great time for our family (older parents and adult children). We loved the condo, it was the right size and the right location. Just a few notes: we would have appreciated knowing we would have one towel per person for the entire stay. We could have brought some from home instead of worrying about laundry all the time. Also, the queen BR facing the ocean needs a new mattress, it was very lopsided and the air flow should be checked, the room tended to get very hot. However, we enjoyed the condo and will probably rent again. Just have to draw straws to see who gets the yucky bedroom.

Quick getaway

OMG, beautiful condo, pictures do not do it justice. Had everything you need. Only thing is make sure to bring ice. The ice maker doesn’t produce much ice at all, but nothing that would ruin your stay. The pools are beautiful, just a short little walk to the beach. Just great and will return again.

Wonderful condo, but lacking in little details

The condo is beautiful just like the pictures! It was clean and we did not have any major issues at all. Overall it was great and we would stay again! However, as someone who has stayed in many VRBO properties I was a little disappointed in the lack of basics around the condo. For starters there were 2 butter knives total, no spatula (we used a long spoon to make eggs and flipped pancakes with a fork lol), no oven mitts, the ice maker barely made ice, there was not so much as salt and pepper (yes I know you bring your own groceries to VRBOs but… there’s usually salt and pepper! Quality of toilet paper, paper towels, bedding, and bath towels were disappointing. Yes I know I sound picky but gotta explain why it wasn’t a 5 star review. We didn’t have to contact the property manager for any major issues during our stay, but I did call them the day of arrival because we were driving from 14 hours away and set to arrive 2 hours prior to check in time. I wanted to find out if it was possible to check in early, or if not.. if there was anywhere to put our luggage so we could go enjoy the beach while we waited. Well… as with large companies it wasn’t the type of communication you get with a personal owner. I had to press buttons to get a real person, and then even then she wasn’t sure but told me I can’t attempt to enter the property before check in. Again, overall it was great… but if you are detail oriented or a little picky just ask them about specifics incase you need to pack them

It was great

The only thing is the two smaller bedrooms the lights and fans were on the same switch - when one person would turn the light out it would turn the other ones on in the other bedroom. It was a good laugh, but probably should be fixed.

Spring Break 2023

Very pleased with the decision to stay at this rental. It was beautiful and newly remodeled. It was very clean and the end unit with all the amazing views was breathtaking. I honestly had no complaints. Would most definitely want to stay here again.

Very Disappointed

Since we had stayed in this unit before we anticipated everything being very nice. It wasn’t. I called Guest Services the morning after we arrived to let them know of several things that we felt needed to be fixed while we were there. For instance, The bar lock on the inside of the front door was missing a major part and the missing part was in the laundry room, the drapes in the master bedroom were falling off in several places, there was a used crumbled paper towel on the floor beside the nightstand in the MB, the TV in the bedroom off the kitchen would turn on but no channels could be found, the closet door in that same room was off the rollers, one of the towels in the bathroom attached to that same bedroom was badly stained, the light switch plate beside the bed in the small bedroom on the balcony had almost 1/4 of it missing making it a electrical hazard, the sheets on the bed in that bedroom we so piled so badly it was like touching sandpaper, there was dried red jelly on one of the bar stools. The ad said it was newly updated there were lots of nicks, marks and dirt on walls, fan blades and baseboards. We expected normal wear and tear but for the price we paid the ones listed above are not acceptable to us. We were so disappointed we didn’t get any kind of response after calling other than to say they would let maintenance know. Never saw or heard from anyone for the remainder of our stay. We took pictures of some of the repairs that needed to be made. We have been coming to Gulf Shores for years but we feel Kaiser may not work for us next time.
