Escape to our family-owned and managed property in the beautiful Northwoods! This has been the home of our dreams and changes in this season of life have allowed us to share it with you.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by picturesque windows that showcase a panoramic view of Little Bass Lake. The 3,800 square-foot house boasts 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms perfect for large families to have areas of privacy while making memories together. The large kitchen, modern appliances and 12-person dining table suit any occasion.

Bring the entire family together with outdoor seating for everyone on the deck, in the screen porch and around the firepit. The sandy and shallow beach are just steps away, inviting you to relax and soak up the sun. Two paddle boards, a paddleboat, kayak, beach toys and beach towels are provided. Little Bass Lake is a clear, clean and sandy-bottom 160 acres with depths up to 60 feet. You’re sure to enjoy the resident loon family as they sing throughout the day and night; and might find a few panfish, bass and northerns along the edges.

In summer, the local area offers a plethora of opportunities for outdoor adventures. Explore the surrounding hiking trails, the worldclass Tioga Recreation Area mountain bike system, cast your line for a day of fishing, or visit the many playgrounds for some family fun. Indulge in the local restaurants and breweries, and discover unique shopping experiences in Grand Rapids less than 10 minutes away.

When winter arrives, our home transforms into a winter wonderland. Enjoy snowmobiling adventures that begin on the expansive groomed trail system just 1/4 mile from the house. Glide through the snowy landscape on cross-country skis, or drill a hole on any of the countless area lakes for panfish, northerns and walleyes. For those seeking a bit of excitement, tubing and downhill skiing are a 15-minute drive away at Mt. Itasca. At the end of the day, defrost your sleds and vehicles in the heated two-stall garage.

~ Other Details & House Rules ~

-10% discount on 7-night rentals!
-Access to the house is contactless by digital door lock. You will receive the code one week prior to your stay. Additional measures are in place to ensure you are never locked out.
-The house is a spacious three levels, which requires climbing a set of stairs up or down to all bedrooms and showers. No bedrooms or showers on the main level.
-The beach is 40 yards from the home at a slope greater than meets accessible standards. Guests with mobility issues may have trouble getting to the beach without assistance.
-There is no cable TV but the house is equipped with smart TVs which provide ROKU channels and allow guests to sign into their favorite streaming services.
-Due to the complexity of the double wood fireplace, guests are not allowed to operate them. You are sure to find the home warm and cozy despite this.
-Our house is very kid-friendly. Use of the stair gates, bed rails, pack-n-play, highchair and toys can be used at guest discretion. Please be aware of cleaning supplies in kitchen and bathroom cabinets.
-The property is unique for its dead-end privacy and serene environment. Please uphold this virtue and respect our neighbors! Quiet hours will be strictly enforced outdoors 10pm - 8am. Enjoy the firepit and screen porch, but please be aware of how easily voices and music travel.
-The speed limit on the shared driveway is 10 mph. Please drive respectfully and be aware of pedestrians. Damage to the driveway may result in additional fees.
-No smoking inside the house. Dispose properly of cigarette butts outside. Additional fees may be applied if litter is found around the property.
-We keep our cleaning fee among the lowest you’ll find. An additional minimum $50 fee will be charged if the property is left excessively dirty, beyond what a courteous guest would leave. Examples include but are not limited to excessive trash left behind; stains on floors, walls, furniture or linens; and damaged appliances.
-Please remove shoes when entering the home.
-The property is equipped with two outdoor livestream video cameras (ring cams). Both are outdoors and face entirely outdoors for security reasons.
-Any house rules violation is grounds for immediate termination of reservation with no refund at the discretion of the host. Guests may be required to vacate the premises when asked for breaking house rules as seen fit by the host, or that break the law or VRBO policy, and will be considered trespassers. These rules are enforced respectfully and within reason.
