Tropical Feel in Trendy Nobby Beach

Although listed as Mermaid Beach, our unit is actually in trendy Nobby Beach which is a small area located to the south of Mermaid Beach and north of Miami. Nobby Beach is a casual, holiday-feel suburb with a beautiful beach and foreshore walking path that continues to Miami, with a small park at the end and then continues up steps over a headland and down to North Burleigh on the other side.. Nobby Beach Surf Lifesaving Club boasts a fantastic beach view while you enjoy a great meal or afternoon drink, while the shopping strip along the highway provides plenty of trendy cafes, bars and eateries.

Our unit is situated in a quiet, resort-style security complex with a relaxed, tropical feel. It is located on the ground floor and is modern and roomy. Being on the ground floor provides the bonus of having a front balcony AND a rear courtyard, giving you more outdoor areas for relaxing and dining. We have updated the flooring and changed the shower to a walk-in to allow more room. We have unlimited Wi-Fi and a 55" Smart TV with Netflix connected and a bluetooth surround soundbar.

Enjoy the convenience of being walking distance to the beach and the great array of bars, restaurants and cafes that Nobby Beach has to offer.

Great spot for a couple

Jacqui met us & explained things. Apartment is clean, comfortable and good bed. Love the touch of cling wrap/foil etc. Makes it so much easier. Great location near restaurants and beach. Highly recommend it. Thanks Jacqui.

Roam, Relax and Revive

Jacqui was a great host, coming in late at night to welcome me and show me around the unit. She was very prompt in answering all my messages and inquiries before my stay. The unit was well maintained and clean. All linen and towels are included. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry and the walk-in shower was great. The extra touches such as beach towels, salt and pepper, olive oil, foil and glad wrap etc in the kitchen were greatly appreciated. The pool was very relaxing and I often had it to myself. It was cleaned daily. The unit complex is not too big and the people I met were friendly, in general it is a quiet place to stay. The beach is 2 short blocks away and the Nobby Beach shops and bus stops are a block in the other direction. This was a great place to roam the Gold Coast and take timeout to relax and revive. I’ll definitely be back!

Great property for a stay on the GC

The property was clean, has a helpful and friendly host and is in a perfect location for a beachside holiday, The pool at the complex was beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

It is a cosy and convenient place to stay, the host was lovely and easy to deal with. The only downfall is because it's very close to the spa and pool you get the noise from all the people using it , the little front deck is lovely but being by the pool and entrance to the property people are constantly walking right past you. We also found it noisy at night , the entrance door slams shut and voices echo up and down the staircase. People were also partying well into the night in the building behind. We stayed at a very busy time so I think any other time it would be ok. Loved the secure undercover parking.

Excellent apartment in great location

Excellent apartment. Clean and comfortable. Location is perfect short stroll to all the shops and restaurants and also short stroll to the beach. Jacqui the host was wonderful to deal with and met us at the property and gave us a full tour.

I could live here! The apartment is in a wonderful location, one of the few quiet sections of the coast. Walking distance to some good cafes , restaurants and the beach, and a 5 min drive to Pacific Fair. The apartment itself is beautifully outfitted with everything you could need to self- cater. I was initially concerned that it may lack privacy as a ground floor unit near the front gate, but the layout of the paths and stairs meant this wasn’t a problem for us at all. The pool area is also great - big pool which was unused most of the times we went there. We will definitely be back
