The cottage was gorgeous and we especially loved the small touches that made our stay so enjoyable - a gourmet kitchen, beautiful towels and linen and super comfy beds and couches! The property overlooks vineyards and is a few hundred metres from lake Connewarre which made for some lovely walks and bird watching in the evenings. Somehow it’s a peaceful and nature setting yet also a few minutes away from shops at the same time! Highly recommend

We were incredibly impressed with this accommodation from the moment we arrived. The home was spotless and beautifully presented, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear that the comfort of guests is a priority—there were extra linens, plenty of cosy blankets, and even toys provided for the kids, which made our stay feel especially thoughtful and family-friendly.The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with all the necessities we could possibly need, plus some generous added extras. We really appreciated the wide selection of tea and coffee, the reusable shopping bags, and even kindling ready for the fire—such small touches that made a big difference to our stay.A huge thank you to our host, Pat, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everything about this beautiful property stood out! It had everything you could possibly need. It was so clean and very roomy for our 8 guests as we were attending a wedding. Our host Pat was absolutely incredible. We can't thank Pat enough. Pat went above & beyond to make our stay unforgettable.

We had such a great time at the cottage.Very peaceful and took in the frosty morning sunshine over the olive trees that line the backyard, a vineyard behind that. Loved seeing the bird life near the lake and flying over. Even a family of rabbits make an appearance. Our dog enjoyed all the new smells around the farm. The restored cottage is gorgeous. Loved the comfort of the bed and couches. Beautifully furnished and very homely. Property is in a good location and close to the main shops and just a very short drive to Lake Connewarre or Queenscliff. Pat is a wonderful host and was flexible with check in/out times too. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Pat.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is private with beautiful views. It’s so peaceful and we left feeling so relaxed! Its fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals plus its location was close to shops etc making it such an easy stay. There were 3 couples staying total, it’s worth nothing the third bedroom is a second living room with a sofa bed but can be completely closed off / private.

Had a lovely time at the Farm Cottage. It's not only a pretty home, it's also been really thoughtfully kitted-out. It's always nice when a place has clearly been set up with liveability in mind. The kitchen was really well equipped. Any supplies we needed were available. Plenty of nice places to visit nearby. You won't find many better 2-bedroom stays around.

We were suitably impressed with the detail that went into the refurbishment of the house itself and were happy to let our little ones play in the back yard. Farm Cottage is the most perfect dog-friendly haven, and Pat has thought of everything to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. Talking of comfort, the beds are incredible - haven’t slept that well in a long time - and the bath was great. There are shops only a short drive away, so many beaches nearby and my dog loved the wide open fields right outside to explore. It’s very quiet and the stars at night are incredible. Highly recommend, I would happily return to stay again.
