The elevator was out during our entire stay. We were on the top floor. We had 2 individuals who were post surgery (back surgery and leg surgery) and 2 individuals who were 80. That part was difficult especially during loading and unloading. We should have been informed. Other than that we had a great stay with wonderful views.

Very disappointed

When we booked it showed us being by a pool and having direct beach access( if you go by pics that say “this is yours”), we had to drive to get to pools and to beach access. We paid 25 per person to use elevator and pool, the elevator did not work the whole time we were there, lucky it was just a 3rd floor condo . The dryer did not dry your clothes , it took 4-5 cycles per load. Huge RATS were everywhere. Anytime we tried to contact personnel we was told elevator doesn’t work all the time and or got a rude respond for other stuff. The beach for their access point had garbage everywhere . The back outdoor balcony furniture and rugs stayed soaked the entire time( it rained one day , and one of the railing was literally about to fall off so we just didn’t go out there , we were there 5 days . About the only good thing was that the inside of condo was cute

Amazing Condo

We loved our stay at this condo. It was spacious and has a beautiful balcony with lots of sitting room! The only reason I’m giving it a four star is because the couches really need to be cleaned, they have an unpleasant smell to them. Also, the amenities list should be updated. There’s beach chairs, Keurig, crockpot and an air fryer that aren’t listed but are super helpful to know ahead of time. We would definitely stay there again!

Spring Break 2025

This was the perfect condo for our family. There was plenty of space, and it was fully equipped for cooking meals and hanging out. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed access to the beach. This was a great stay and a relaxing time with family! There was one catch, as we discovered that the amenities (pools advertised in pictures) cost extra to have access. We still would go back!

GROSS Inside & AWFUL Owner Group!

GROSS. Bloody band-aids on the couch, trash under the couch (including food containers & an opened & partially drunk small bottle of alcohol), clump of hair in the shower corner (plus the shower drains so slow that you will be standing in your filth water), two HALF Used toilet paper rolls that were on the holders (and ZERO extra TP given). When I contacted the owner about this, they said that they weren't required to do anything about it and that the basics are given at the beginning of a stay, so the half used TP was all we would get. There were 6 of us (4 kids) & that was what we got! But worse than the not cleaned placed (that we paid a cleaning fee for) was the owner who cared less. "Sorry this is happening" & "Allow me a few moments" were their go-to texts to me, followed by nothing or telling me "Guests are required to restock their own..." We also paid for a late check out, then got locked out of the unit with our stuff inside when the door code given stopped working. The owner's customer svc gave us the old "one moment while I look into this for you" instead of giving us a code to actually get in. I asked for our cleaning fee & late check out fee back, since this is right & ethical of them to do (we did pay for what was not provided). BUT THEY REFUSED. They chose to ignore me & not reply Pointe West (and its staff) itself is fantastic, so stay at Pointe West, but AVOID this unit & this owner or owner group (whoever it is) at ANY COST! If you try it here - good luck.

Disappointed

Furniture in living miserable to sit on. Only dishes for 4 people. Surface cleaned not deep cleaned. I had to purchase my own cleaning supplies as cleaning was not available. I stayed 1 month and elevator broken for 2.5 weeks. Supplies such as trash bags insufficient for duration of my stay. Won't stay here again.

Don't believe the summary!

When we first arrived the power was off. I don't blame them for this, but it was 4 floors up and only 1 elevator. We had disabled guests with us. We kept getting different times from everyone we spoke to about when the power would be on. We got there at 4 pm and the power was NOT back on until 9 pm. That's not the biggest problem. According to the summary and emailed details we were supposed to be GIVEN (FREE) 9 arm bands for swimming. Instead the activity center said they do NOT do that anymore and we had to pay over $250 for all of our guests to receive arm bands that should have been FREE just to swim. I waited to complete this review because I spoke to Vacasa immediately after having to pay and they stated they would refund the money because the information they sent me was incorrect and I should not have had to pay for 9 arm bands (they state they give you 3 per bedroom). We stayed there at the end of September and to this day we have still not been reimbursed.

The Oasis

We come to this area alot and the bay view of this unit was fantastic There were a few things that made this trip a little difficult. When we walked in the floor appeared a little sticky and after walking on it, our feet were BLACK! Another renter mentioned the black feet/socks so I was surprised that problem had not been resolved before our stay. We ate most of our meals at the condo and there were no dish towels! There was NO hand soap in any bathroom or the kitchen. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms. I found the wash cloths in a drawer but there was a wet one wadded up on top so I had to wash them all before we could use them. I contacted the vacasa when we got there because the disposal wasn’t working and they sent out someone immediately and he was great. But the other issues were not resolved. They did say I could go buy some soap and keep my receipts…really? There are not stores out there! The condo is decorated cute but twin beds are so uncomfortable for adults There were plenty of beds because the bunk beds also had trundles. I feel bad about all the complaining but you need to do better. I never received check-out instructions but did wash the towels before leaving. Leaving on a good note, views of both the gulf and bay were fantastic!

AC went out first Night - Poor Customer Sevice

Property is nice but dusty-dirty. Blended was dirty and broken - all the cutlery also looked dirty so we had to wash. AC went out the first night during dinner and was on the phone with them for close to 3 hours & were told they couldn’t do anything for us. They offered a hotel room credit at midnight but for us to find a hotel room at that hour during an extremely busy weekend made it impossible. Requested a full refund and was to get a call from a supervisor regarding check out but never received a call. Gotta love good customer service (sarcasm)

West Galveston Condo

For a short stay it was great. The bunk beds are too short for anyone 5'8" or taller. It had either say unused for a long period or the cleaning crew doesnt dust well. The decorative items were pretty dusty. Well stocked kitchen. Glad we did a grocery order and picked it up on the way out there. It's a good 20-25 minute drive back to the main shopping area. Not a bad thing though. Condos were seperated enough in the immediate area there was privacy, unike so many resorts and condo complexes. We could sit on the balcony and see ocean as well as the bay.

Oasis Birthday

Spent the weekend celebrating my son’s 16th birthday. This was our second stay and it is a very nice property in terms of amenities. The only major issue, which we also experienced during our first stay, is with the cheap quality of the bed pillows. They are flat, hard and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Please invest in softer fluffier pillows for the bedrooms. Thank you.

Well appointed place!

This place met every expectation. It was well appointed with everything we needed for cooking and beach fun. They provided beach towels and a great collapsible beach wagon. Loved the double bed and bottom pull out for the kids. Wide expansive view of calm bay.

Great views to the bay

This property is pretty and has great views to the bay. We would still have to drive to go to the beach or pool, but we were super comfortable while in the apartment. It also was very well equipped with all utensils we needed.
